Welcome to Knockmore's 2 Lakeside cabins. Enjoy one of our 2 private 2 bedroom cabins while living alongside the calming waters of the Bras d'Or Lakes. Both cabins are newly built and offer a clean, modern, airy, open concept layout. The two cabins are about 100 feet apart; they each offer a wonderful secluded, covered porch overlooking the Bra d'Or lakes. We cap each cabin at 4 guests and 2 cars. All guests must register their ID 48 hours before check-in. All reservations are for 2+ nights.

Artist’s Eco Cabin - The Nest

The Nest is privately located overlooking our farm & highlands. It's rustic & glamorous with small touches that make it unique. The Nest sleeps four (second bed is a double futon) & has full cooking & washroom facilities. It's equipped with a wood stove, fridge, BBQ, & solar lights. The outdoor washroom in the pines offers both an on-demand hot shower (summer only) & a composting toilet. The farm has plenty of activities for our guests to enjoy. N.S. Our 5 wilderness cabins are uniquely hand crafted by the owner Angelo with locally and custom built beds, stained glass windows, carvings and themed iron rails. All cabins have water views from your sheltered deck and are footsteps away from a communal cook space. Our central location is a PERFECT start for day tripping around the island and you are just footsteps away from North River Kayak Tours. Cozy private waterfront cottage on Bras d'Or Lake just minutes to the Cabot Trail & the quaint town of Baddeck (9km). Make this a home base for all your island adventures. Bring your camera, hiking shoes, golf clubs, guitar and singing voice. At the end of it all come and sit and sip by a cozy fire, a moonlight sky and be star struck. The Worn Doorstep Guest Suite in heart of village!

Light and airy guest suite attached to main level of our family home. Includes one queen bed, full bath with shower, and kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave, tea/coffee facilities, toaster and sink. Shared barbeque located on lower level. Small private patio off the back of the suite and parking in front. There are no shared spaces in the suite. After booking, check-in instructions will be sent via the inbox of the Airbnb app. Please read the instructions carefully prior to your arrival.

The old trail cabin.

Situated on a hillside overlooking the historic St. Ann’s bay, the Old Trail cabin is conveniently located just 5.5km from the start of the Cabot trail and the Gaelic College. A great spot to start or finish your Cabot Trail adventures! The cabin is designed to feel as open and airy as possible for a small space. The bedroom has a queen bed and the loft has a single bed. Kitchenette has coffee maker, toaster, mini fridge and microwave. All amenities needed are only 15 mins away in Baddeck.

This wee cottage is decorated for those witchy vibes! It has one queen bed, breakfast table and kitchenette with micro, fridge, toaster, counter top burner and sink. All dishes, linens, kitchen supplies and shampoo/soap is provided. Kitchenette for simple meal prep. Please bring your own coffee. Full bathroom w/ walk-in shower. Private BBQ and yard with screen tent. Cottage driveway is steep but well maintained; no bikes, please. Muted traffic noise may be noticeable at times. No dogs.

Woodsy Cabin on the Bras d'Or

Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.

Peaceful Pines Cottage

Now with Outdoor Private Hot Tub!! This tranquil four season cottage is located Big Pond, Cape Breton. Simple but extremely comfortable our second home has all the amenities you will need for a relaxing getaway! Fully equipped kitchen with open-concept, cozy living room. Two double bedrooms and a full bathroom are on the second level. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening nightcap on the master bedroom balcony. A sunroom on the main floor completes this welcoming cottage.
