On the doorstep there is the famous Bluebell Wood walk leading up to the pretty church. Nearby is the town of Garstang which is known for its tasty home-grown produce and individual shops, where you can buy some treats particular to Lancashire! Here you will find shops and pubs and why not explore the town and watch the passing canal boats cruise along the peaceful Lancaster Canal. Within reach is the historic city of Lancaster with much to see, including the Medieval castle and Georgian architecture, and the seaside resort of Morecambe, the Forest of Bowland and further afield the wonderful Lake District National Park are well worth a visit. Situated in rural Pilling it is ideally located for access to the Lakes, Trough of Bowland, Lancaster and seaside resort of Blackpool. This is the perfect base for cycling or rambling along the coast or into the countryside along with exploring the historic surroundings.
