Charming refurbished Victorian cottage in a tranquil riverside setting with a private garden bordered by the River Cam/Granta on the old mill run at Whittlesford Mill. It is 6 miles from Cambridge, Duxford IWM is 2 miles away and there is a mainline station - Cambridge (10 minutes), London Liverpool Street (1 hour). The village has a gastro pub called The Tickell Arms, a restaurant called Provenance and The Red Lion. Saffron Walden is 8 miles away where Audley End House can also be found.

Welcome to our newly redecorated, warm, sunny and spacious garden annex. Off street parking and a short walk home from a day at the races - Rowley Mile Course. (The July course is a longer walk), or a 3 minute taxi ride from the High Street restaurants and Newmarket train station. When travelling we always appreciate a comfortable bed, fresh linen, a decent hot shower, large fluffy towels and being able to make a tea / coffee when we arrive. A rejuvenated listed old wash house in the picturesque Norfolk countryside village of Denver. This small space sleeps 2 on a small double fold up bed/sofa to utilise the space we have, the room has its own shower/toilet facilities in the corner of the room, tea/coffee, kettle, towels, shampoo. Lots of walks and close to Denver sluice, Denver windmill, pub, shop and Downham market’s amenities. Pet friendly, large garden shared with us. Access via the garden gate and key safe.
