Nestling in a quiet rural setting Hilderstone Stable was converted recently into a contemporary high quality 2 bed cottage. 5 mins north of J35 M6. This cottage is ideally located for exploring the Lake District, Arnside/Silverdale AONB, Leighton Moss and Yorkshire Dales. The settlement of Hilderstone can be traced back to the 13th century. The barn was built originally in c1750. There is still a working farm as part of the 200 acre Hilderstone Farm. A great base for outdoor activities.

We offer guests a contact free stay in our detached studio suite in the Lake District.To refresh the studio and to complete intensive cleaning we block off a day either side of every booking. The studio has a king-sized bed, dining table & chairs, a very comfortable sofa, TV, lobby, wet room, small kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, tableware, cutlery. Patio doors open on to a private sun terrace overlooking the garden and surrounding fields. Parking next to the studio.

Boasting two bedrooms, reading/play room, lounge with log burner, kitchen, bathroom and lovely enclosed paved garden with beautiful views, this is a truly charming and romantic cottage. Close to all amenities, dog friendly pubs and beautiful walks. *Pets are welcome at the cottage - £15 fee per pet. Max 2 pets*

Gressingham is a small, picturesque village and makes the perfect location for walkers, cyclists and those wanting a country break.
