Unser Camps im Larot Village, das 17 km vor dem Chanshal-Pass liegt und das letzte Dorf vor diesem exotischen Pass ist, der Dodra Kwar und Rohru (Chirgaon) im Bezirk Shimla des indischen Bundesstaates Himachal Pradesh verbindet. Der Pass liegt auf dem Chanshal Peak, der mit 4.520 Metern der höchste Gipfel des Bezirks Shimla ist. Umgeben von dichten Reservatswäldern aus Deodar, Kiefern und Eichen haben wir einen 180-Grad-Blick auf den Himalaya und ein Versprechen von nicht zwei Abenden gleichermaßen.

The fresh air, colors of nature and staying next to nature will bring you inner peace. There is no network available in the area but electricity is there and a TV. There are ample of treks in the area short and long, one of them is the famous rupin range trek. In summers, half a kilometer walk will take you to the rupin river for a swim, and in winters you will feel snow at you feet just outside the house. There is no market nearby just a local shop, all the basic amenities are available.
