I built this home to be a secluded, barrier-free chalet for the ultimate Cape Breton experience.

We are located just 20 minutes from the town of Inverness, where you can enjoy a round of golf at our world class golf courses as well as enjoy many great restaurants and beaches. Glamping off the Beaton Path (AD#3)

Glamping is a form of camping involving accommodation and facilities more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping. Communal washrooms and a shower are located in a separate building; there is also an area for washing dishes. The facility is off the power grid, so solar power is used for lightning. Tiny House on Wheels - Boat House

This modern crafted tiny house on wheels will make you feel like you're in a beautiful hull of a boat. The Boat House has 2 lofts, one double bed accessed by ladder and the other has stairs leading up to a queen bed, accommodating 4 people. This tiny house offers a fully appointed spacious kitchen, a 3 piece bathroom including a flush toilet, as well as Wifi, smart TV, a wood stove and AC. Kayaks & SUP’s, BBQ shelter use are included with your stay.

Swallow Bank Cottage #3 on the Margaree River

This one bedroom cottage is located in Margaree Centre. Our four, full housekeeping cottages sit along the Margaree River, just minutes from the Cabot Trail. Cottage 3 has been recently renovated inside and out. New bathroom, upgraded kitchen, and a queen bed with a luxury Logan & Cove mattress. The cottage also has a sofa bed in the living area for extra sleeping space. Check in is anytime after 3pm. Check out is 11am.

Secluded yurt on the river, 7 mins to Baddeck

Meet Orange Sunshine - your own secluded yurt, right on the river. Soak in the boho vibe, enjoy a candle lit dinner made in your own kitchenette, and cozy up by the glow of the wood stove in a comfy queen bed. Complete with outdoor shower, private fire pit & outhouse. Only 7 mins to Baddeck. Walk 5 mins down a groomed trail to this incredible off-grid experience. There’s no electricity, so prepare to unplug!

A nicely equipped kitchen lets you prepare your meals while you enjoy the view of the surrounding hills and ocean. You’ll find the bright and fresh feel of the open concept cottages flows out onto a large outdoor deck where guests can sit in the sun or find shade under the overhang.

Our little Garden Shed is a rustic guesthouse on our family property, perched above the beautiful Margaree Valley and just off the Cabot Trail. It's a cozy, rustic space with a composting toilet, solar shower, woodstove heat, and lots of charm — best suited to guests looking for a simple, countryside stay.
