The cottage is a 2 bedroom mid terrace which sleeps 4 people. It comprises of entrance hall front living room with entertainment wall hosting the 58” smart TV. The dining room has a log burner. There is a well equipped fitted kitchen with dishwasher. A fully fitted bathroom with double ended bath and separated corner showeR. Oil central heating with double glazed anthracite windows and doors. Free car parking places front and rear of the property and a block paved private seating area.

Jessie's Hut

Our first hut (Ben's hut) was so successful, we've built another one !! Set on a working sheep farm, Jessie’s Hut has a double bed with the option of a single bunk above, giving a 2+1 format. There's a shower room and a small kitchen area with a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. Wool-based insulation and central heating keep the hut cosy warm all year. Things to see include:- Beamish Museum (a must see!!), The Roman Wall, Durham, Kilhope Lead mining Museum and The Metro Centre.

Ivesley Cottage. The cottage is a two bedroom mid terrace property sleeping 4 people. It has an open planned dining/lounge with a log effect burner for cosy nights, a well equipped fitted kitchen, separate utility, a fully fitted bathroom (over bath shower), oil central heating, double glazed windows and composite outer doors. There is car parking to the front & private drive for 2 cars at the rear of the property, a block paved yard and a large garden with patio seating area.

Only 20 minutes drive will take you to the world heritage site of Durham City and 30 minutes into Newcastle, with the most welcoming of Geordie hospitality. Both cities are noted for their stunning architecture along with superb restaurants and traditional pubs. There are many local attractions for all ages within a good walk or a short drive.

This little oasis of green is in a super handy location on the edge of the greenbelt, yet near the Team Valley, Metrocentre and Newcastle. There's a bus stop directly outside, with buses into central Newcastle every 30min in the day. Watergate Forest Park is right next door, with a fantastic cafe, lake, swans & lots of other wildlife. We're only a couple of miles from the C2C cycle route, with easy access to lots of other cycle routes & walks.

Stow House Farm Cottages, Ivy Cottage

Ivy Cottage is a lovely two bedroom cottage on a rural farm 20 minutes drive from historic Durham. This pretty little cottage comfortably sleeps four guests and has been converted from the farm’s old tractor barn. For those wanting to holiday in larger groups we also have Cornmill Cottage and Bramble Cottage next door which sleep 6 and 3 guests respectively. Swallow cottage offers everything you need for a peaceful getaway. A 17th century grade 2 listed barn, newly renovated to a high standard, maintaining original beams throughout and stonework. Step inside this spacious cottage and you will have everything you require for a wonderful stay. The space is very open plan and bright which brings the beautiful rolling views of the Tyne Valley countryside inside.

The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS SUITED TO GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.
