The Nellie

The Nellie is a four-season houseboat, located in the wilderness of the Gatineau River; a boat-in location in summer, accessed from our home parking 2kms from the boat, or via two public boat launches 10km away. We offer canoe rentals and ferry options below. Before winter, Nellie returns home to freeze into the ice; providing access by foot 30m from our home parking, and electric heat. She has a bucket toilet on board, a summer outhouse, and winter access to our shared indoor basement bathroom.

Nearby, cycling, walking trails, horseback riding, fishing & world class whitewater rafting. Enjoy peaceful waterfront, dock & sandy beach. Guests have personal fire pit outdoor shower, hot tub & BBQ

Enjoy long walks in the Torbolton Forest, on the beach, swimming and fishing in the summer and winter, or just use our canoe/ paddle boat/ Kayak to explore. Relax under the covered Gazebo, sundeck and a balcony from the Master Bedroom.

This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.

The Meadow

Welcome to our modern countryside cabin located on a 2 acre lot in Wakefield, Quebec. Come relax and recharge for a few days while taking advantage of nature and the cozy interior with fireplace. There is plenty to do nearby: discover the Wakefield village, its restaurants, boutiques, farms, the Gatineau Park, the Nordik Spa, Eco-Odyssee, the nearby golf courses and ski hills, etc. (CITQ Permit #298430. We pay all Sales and Income taxes to the prov/fed governments).

Nestled in the trees is a very rare and secluded year round log home on the shores of the Rideau River. This convenient location is only a 5 minute drive to the main part of Kemptville and 30 minutes from Ottawa. 2 canoes and SUP included! Winter activities include snowmobiling (trail is at the end of the driveway), snowshoeing trails, cross country skiing, and ice fishing.
