Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". We hope that a stay at the Temple will deliver this experience and stay true to this vision.

Das Stadtzentrum liegt 3km entfernt und ist mit fünf verschiedenen Buslinien zu erreichten. Eine weltbekannte Schriftstellerin lebte in der Wohnung diagonal gegenüber. Sie zog längst weiter, aber ihre Magie blieb.

Set in a private, gated apartment block with a very pleasant courtyard and a secure underground parking space included (2m height restriction). The apartment itself is on the 4th floor (lift access) and has recently been completely renovated. Hotel grade linen and towels included. Complimentary toiletries from Scottish Fine Soaps (shampoo, shower gel, hand wash).

Lovely apartment close to city, garden & driveway

This is not a good choice of apartment if you are looking to go out, get drunk, play loud music and make a lot of noise. I have neighbours with young children so there is zero tolerance on parties, loud music, disturbing the neighbours or having guests in the property in addition to the those who booked (2 max.). I will be advised of these situations and will have no option but to end your stay and seek compensation.
