Come spend some relaxing time on an island in the Susquehanna River. Sit on the back patio and watch the river flow by. Take a short walk or drive to Shikellamy State Park to enjoy the walking/bike paths and boat launch areas (check boating season schedule by contacting the park before bringing your boat) or do some nature watching. Foothill House is on the outskirts of Hughesville. It is in a country setting, abundant with wildlife. The house borders a pond, which is amazing to just sit and relax next too. Central Pa has many amazing restaurants that provide farm to table food in our lush pa summers. We are close to many outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, kayaking, swimming and much more. If your visiting for work, we aren’t too far from civilization.
