Close to great trails for hiking and cross country skiing, but outside of town enough to get a great show from the Northern Lights. Newly updated with a quiet environment, perfect get away. Full size washer/dryer, and all kitchen needs. A beautiful Alaskan property which you can watch float planes land and take off from the private pond across the road. Large windows for great views! This cozy cabin sits on 80 acres of forest and field, about a 45 minute drive southeast of Fairbanks along the Richardson Highway, with a beautiful network of cross country ski trails and wonderful opportunities to view the northern lights from the front porch untainted by the lights from town. Harding Lake State Recreation area is just 12 miles south down the Richardson Highway. The Salcha Ski trails are a short distance away and start from the parking lot of the Salcha Elementary School

Rustic Cabin with trail access

This rustic cabin is located on Chena Hot Springs road, approximately 25 miles from downtown Fairbanks and 30 miles from the hot springs. It has 1 set of queen sized bunk beds, 1 couch, and a full sized bunk above the couch. The cabin is semi dry, meaning that there is cold running water in the kitchen sink but otherwise no indoor plumbing. Outhouse is less than 50 feet from cabin. Coin showers, laundromat, post office and general store are 2 miles down the road. Kitchen is fully outfitted.

Welcome to the Nuthatch, a cozy cabin in the woods outside Fairbanks. This dog-friendly little cabin is just 7 miles from town but surrounded by the boreal forest. This is glamping at its best, a solid roof, warm place, bed, WiFi, and tv. This is a “dry” cabin, with an outhouse but no running water. Look out for wildlife and northern lights or roast a s’more over the campfire. If you have more guests, there is a additional cabin on the property "Come Visit the Warbler" that holds four.

We are located in Goldstream valley about 9 minutes from Fairbanks. It is a quiet get away spot surrounded by birch trees. Life is simple here. The bathroom is an outhouse - common in Fairbanks. We have a banya sauna for bathing. Running hot & cold water inside cabin. A store & laundromat with showers 1 mile away. Ivory Jacks restaurant & bar 1 mile away, Sam's Thai 3 miles. Great northern lights viewing! Close to hiking trails & bird sanctuary. Our home is a 4min walk from cabin.

This small cabin has everything needed for a safe, quiet and comfortable home base while you visit Fairbanks. *** Please note that there is a half bath, a sink and toilet, NO TUB or SHOWER! May 2025: The Toyo oil stove has recently been examined and adjusted to respond to a few guests who have mention a fuel smell. While not dangerous, a blocked air exchange vent created an unpleasant smell. All resolved now! ** At times during the winter, AWD or 4WD is REQUIRED.

Moose Tracks Cabin in North Pole, Alaska

This beautiful log cabin is situated in the woods on the outskirts of North Pole, Alaska. It is easily accessible in the winter months or in the summer. Guests don’t need to worry about the cold temperatures with the year round heating system. The cabin is cozy even in the coldest of winter temperatures. The cabin has running water, full kitchen and full bathroom (shower and tub) inside the cabin. Moose Tracks Cabin feels like a home away from home.

Beautiful tiny home, built in January 2019 by talented local builder, many guests have fallen in love with this home. No running water, but the cabin is stocked with 5 gallon water bottles filled at Fox Springs. Full kitchen, comfy beds, super fast internet, television ready for streaming, books to curl up and read, close to shopping, restaurants , amenities of the city, while tucked into wooded private lot.
