Country Retreat

Situated just 10 minutes from Taradale and the Mission Estate, or 20 minutes from Napier, this guesthouse offers the benefits of a peaceful rural setting, just a stones throw from all the action! Perfect for families, the property has a tennis court, playground, spa pool and swimming pool that guests are welcome to use. There are chickens and pigs to play with as well as sheep and the odd wild turkey or peacock to spot. There is a pond on the property that is surrounded by frogs in summer.

Orchard cottage.

This unique place has a style all of its own. On a working orchard so you may experience tractors spraying from time to time. Our cottage is not suitable for children. Our cottage is a 3 minute drive to the stunning Havelock North village. Beautiful views through the rows of apple trees up to Te Mata peak. So much to see only minutes from the cottage. Craggy Range winery, Arataki Honey, Birdwood Gallery, Te Mata Peak, many wineries, cycling tracks and so much more to experience.

Welcome to Villa Desa, your recently renovated cosy & warm weatherboard home. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We have a Hot Tub Spa bath in the garden and a nice sunny outdoor dining/relaxing area with a Weber BBQ. Located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, it is a15-minute walk to the village and too great Restaurants and shopping. This three-bedroom open Plan living home has two deck areas to relax with a glass of wine with views to the ranges from the main deck or relax in the Spa on the rear deck. The house has a fully equipped Kitchen and a BBQ on the front deck. The Master bedroom has a Super comfortable King bed with quality Linen and a fully tiled ensuite with dual vanity.

Our cottage is located on a quiet, no exit road only 5 minutes drive to Hastings, 7 minute drive to Havelock North, and only a 15 minute drive to Napier. There is a fantastic Farmers market every Sunday at the local Showgrounds which is only a 3 minute drive away. A cycle way runs through our road and links to several different cycle tracks covering Hawke’s Bay. Our place is good for couples, small groups and families (with kids).
