Off Royal Mile Edinburgh, lovely 2 bedroom flat

This apartment is in a very central and safe location in Old Fishmarket by St Giles. 5 mins walk to top attractions such as the National Museum of Scotland, Festival Theatre, the Castle. Waverley Station is 10 minutes walk. The Meadows and to George Street and the Newtown beyond are easy to reach. Very suitable for sightseers, old and young. Not a party flat but my second home when working in Edinburgh and so it is not a hotel style offering but I am sure you will love it. New kitchen for 2025.

The apartment is perfect for week-long getaways and longer sojourns; fantastic boutiques, cafe’s, restaurants and green spaces are a stone’s throw away while everything central Edinburgh has to offer is also within walking distance!

Shaftesbury Park ist eine 2-Zimmer-Altbauwohnung mit Charme und mit kleinem sonnigen Garten unweit vom Stadtzentrum. Es gibt eine geräumige Küche mit Nachmittagssonne, ein modernes Wohnzimmer mit großem Erkerfenster und ein ruhig gelegenes Schlafzimmer mit Ausblick in den Garten. Das Stadtzentrum liegt 3km entfernt und ist mit fünf verschiedenen Buslinien zu erreichten. Eine weltbekannte Schriftstellerin lebte in der Wohnung diagonal gegenüber. Sie zog längst weiter, aber ihre Magie blieb.

It is overlooked by the beautiful Calton Hill where you can enjoy fantastic panoramic views of the city.

Our beautiful, sun filled, cosy apartment dates from the late 18th Century, and is situated on the historic Royal Mile which stretches from Edinburgh Castle to The Palace of Holyrood. It is in an ideal location to explore our wonderful city. It is situated on the third floor and on one side has superb views of the Edinburgh landscape such as Calton Hill with its eclectic collection of monuments, on the other the Royal Mile itself - a great place to watch the pageantry at Festival time.

The location is very well situated for exploring the city. Only five minutes from Princess Street and the West End. Also a short walk, the beautiful Water of Leith walkway takes you from Dean Village to Stockbridge where there are many good restaurants, bars and cafes or up the river to the modern gallery of art and beyond.
