Nestled in the pines of the beautiful Sierra Foothills this quaint, country cottage is the perfect place for you to relax and enjoy all that nature has to offer. It has a bedroom and a bonus room with two additional beds. Step outside your door for a cup of coffee at the gazebo, view of the horse pasture with deer, wild turkey and all of the wildlife that we enjoy! This is a free-standing home built specifically as a vacation rental cottage in early 2020. It is a quiet, comfortable space in a rural setting with a private patio and views of the Sierra foothills. It is a perfect spot for a family or couple wanting to visit the National Parks nearby (80 min. to Yosemite, 120+ to Sequoia and Kings Canyon). Adorable A frame house close to Yosemite (32 miles), Bass Lake (23 miles), Sequoia, and Kings Canyon! Our cute 2 bedroom cottage is the perfect spot to relax after a day trip to the lake or park. We have a fully stocked kitchen, washer & dryer, bbq and patio set for outdoor eating. The house is equipped with wifi, 2 AC units (upstairs & down) and space heaters. Watch the stars at night, or see deer grazing in the yard. Enjoy our cute peaceful neighborhood on 1 acre of private land!

Liichichi Uuchum - Hummingbird Home

We named the home "Liichichi Uuchum", which is Hummingbird Home in the local Miwok language because of the hummingbirds in the area. There is evidence of Miwok daily life on this 10-acre property located in a peaceful Oak valley with granite boulders and a seasonal stream. El Portal into Yosemite is a 1 hour scenic drive and Mariposa town is 10 mins. Guests have full and private access. A solar array on the roof and the all-electric home makes your vacation rental with us carbon-neutral.

Hilltop Cottage is a private home on a hilltop in the quaint mountain town of Mariposa. During the summer months you can sit out on our deck and listen to Music On the Green in the Mariposa Art Park while enjoying a glass of one of our local wines. Or, perhaps, take a short walk to a number of our tasty restaurants or bars! Our cottage has comfy beds, a beautiful kitchen, and cozy living spaces...you'll wish your stay was much longer!!!

In town! The Hygge Hillside Cottage

A cozy hidden hideaway located right in the town of Mariposa, an hour's drive to Yosemite Valley and minutes away from cafes, restaurants, shops, and the grocery store. The house was built in the 1940's, and has the charms and character that you only find in a vintage home, but with modern and updated decor. A half way wrap around porch makes for the perfect spot to relax with a drink and enjoy the quite privacy of the property.
