Welcome to Blackberry Cottage! Our quaint, imperfect Farm Cottage was built in 1928 and much of it was updated in the spring of 2020. Come relax in the heated/cooled Cottage and enjoy the beautiful scenery and splendor that the Mountains of Western NC has to offer. Take day trips and visit the Blue Ridge Parkway, historic Waynesville, Canton, and Asheville then settle back into one of our cozy beds back at Blackberry Cottage... And don’t forget to visit the goats!!

Explore this 1.68 acre serene getaway, complete with a stream, a bridge, a meadow perfect for lawn games, a bamboo grove, fire pit and extended spa deck with luxury hot tub. Winter views of Capps Lake offer a picturesque scene from the deck. The lake is obscured by shrubs during warmer months, but the frog song and critter's chorus' are abundant! The lake is privately owned, we do not own the lake but the property boarders the edge.
