This treetops lakeview retreat is located on the South Western side of Lake Taupo. Tongariro Crossing, Mt Ruapehu Skifield, Turangi Adventure Tourism, hotpools, great bush walks and trout fishing are all within close proximity. Admire lake views and listen to birdsong from the treetops. Enjoy barista style coffee, grab a book and simply relax and enjoy the views from the expansive deck. Tui Cabin

This container home is set in a private spot surrounded by native bush with a view of the mountain through the trees. The interior of the cabin consists of a separate bedroom with a queen size bed, a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and wood burner. The container has a cosy ambience with lots of light on a sunlit day. Large ranchsliders connect you to the natural world outside for hiking, kayaking, canoeing, skiing or mountain exploring. Walk across the road to dine or relax and cook at home.

Lochwood Ski and Summer Cottage

Lochwood is a light, spacious and warm retreat. Scandi, homely decor. A home-away-from home with a well-equipped kitchen, espresso machine, and tea and coffee facilities. Our architectural award winning home with lake views in Motuoapa is near the southern end of the lake. Built in 2007, 45 minutes from Whakapapa skifield, close to numerous trout fishing rivers and 500m from the Motuoapa marina and boat ramp on Lake Taupo. There are 3 heat pumps and a gas fire for your comfort. Property is 30 minutes from Taupo nearer to Turangi (Airbnb show it on Taupo searches)
