Anastasia Villa - Timeless, elegant sanctuary with panoramic views

Recently built to an exacting high standard by friendly local owners, whose determination to ensure the comfort and relaxation of their guests was clearly a high priority, Anastasia is a modern, stylish house perfectly designed for easy summer living. Offering spellbinding views, both across the town, harbour and the mesmerising sea beyond, Anastasia is one of three select properties (sister villas Theodora and Kalliope are nearby) sitting in private and thoughtfully landscaped grounds amongst the centuries-old olive groves immediately above Gaios town. Creating an attractive fusion of old and new, subtle cues from traditional Ionian architectural principles such as the honey-coloured stone façade and upstairs vaulted wooden ceiling combine with a refined decor of soft pastel shades and taupe to ensure a welcoming and wonderfully comfortable house. Outside, crazy paved terraces chaperone the inviting infinity pool whilst the solid, in-built barbecue will surely be at the heart of mealtime activity. An appealing al fresco scene is completed by numerous colourful pot plants artfully placed in and around the property walls, nooks and crannies, all under the dappled shade of established olive trees. Fereniki's place is a lovely ground floor apartment situated in Gaios, the centre of Paxos; it welcomes couples, solo travellers, friends or families with or without pets from all over the world. It is located 500 meters from the centre of Gaios (about 8-10minutes uphill walk/ 1minute by car) & around 1,5 km from the main port (15-20minutes uphill walk/ 3minutes by car).

The Old House

The house was built in the 18th Century during the Venetian occupation of the island. It has been the residence of the British Governor and the National Bank of Greece among other things. It was restored in 2014 as the waterfront vacation home of its owners and in 2018 with new sound proof Windows installed so it has everything you need for a great vacation.
