Nestled in the small village of Dilhorne, (about 6 miles from Alton Towers) you'll be wowed by the panoramic, stunning views & peace & quiet here. There are 2 great local pubs in the village, both offering a fantastic range of food & drink. You'll find some beautiful footpaths to explore through the field gate. The Stanage Edge Shepherd's Hut

A quirky self-catering shepherd's hut in the Peak District close to the village of Hathersage with stunning views towards Stanage Edge. This shepherd's hut, situated on a working farm, sleeps two people in a king size bed with separate shower room. Kitchen facilities with toaster, kettle, microwave, fridge, 2-ring hob. Our cosy hut is the perfect way to enjoy a stay in the Peak district national park, set in the heart of the village of Alstonefield its surrounded by stunning walks and must visit locations! The hut is set in a private area of our campsite, with a full size double bed, kitchen, seating and dining area with outside seating, balcony and firepit. The little hut is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break including bedding and firewood so all you need to do is arrive!!
