Riverside Cottage (with heated pool Mid Jun -Sept)

Cottage sits right alongside of the West River of Pictou and has a heated swimming pool. Very quiet and private. Couples/Singles only. Free use of the onsite canoe or kayaks. There is a private firepit onsite which can be used when the government burn restrictions permit, and a private deck with a bbq. There is also an above ground heated pool shared with the owners. The Watervale, Cabin 1 at Watervale Springs Retreat, is our East Coast retreat. This cabin-style tiny home boasts a palette inspired by serene Nova Scotia beaches like Melmerby Beach. Designed for two, this cozy cabin features a comfortable king-size bed, a kitchenette, and a BBQ. Relax on your private deck with your favorite book in the afternoon, and as night falls, enjoy the stars by your own propane firepit or the wood-burning firepit in the common area.

Modern Oceanview Cottage

Stay, relax and enjoy yourself at this cozy ocean view cottage in Melville, NS (River John) which has been newly renovated. You can walk the sandy beach, hunt for beach glass or simply sit and relax. With some of the warmest waters in Canada this section of the Northumberland Straight is perfect for swimming, kayaking, snorkeling and paddle boarding. Evenings can be spent gazing at the spectacular sunsets or enjoying a glass of wine at the fire pit.

Retreat to Equine Solace

Great place to unwind. Separate entrance, bathroom and deck. We are two women living on 85 acres in rural Nova Scotia. We have four horses, chickens, two dogs and two cats. There are beautiful trails to walk through that lead you through forest and open areas, all the way to the back of the property where a stream runs through. It is quiet, peaceful and a great escape from the noise of the city.
