Retreat and renew in this charming one-room cabin by Big Walnut Creek and Baker's Camp Covered Bridge. Fish, kayak, or swim; hike or birdwatch in a nearby preserve; read, write, find inspiration. With sweet-smelling poplar walls, the cabin offers a full bed by picture window, inflatable single mattress, small TV, writer's desk, AC, fans and baseboard heat, kitchenette, toilet, sink, outdoor shower (before first frost), small porch, grill, and a fire pit. (No wifi in cabin.) Simple and beautiful.

Step back in time as you walk in from the covered porch into the fabulous, 1890 Victorian that features 4(5) Bedrooms and 3.5 baths. Inside - 14 foot ceilings, large windows trimmed in rich, dark woodwork. Also a 1/2+ acre back yard. For 130+ yrs, this has been home to notable members of the Greencastle and DePauw Community. Rumor has it that Percy Julian met with the Physics club in this place!

Inside, there is a fireplace with a flatscreen TV. The cabin has 1 full bathroom and parking space available.
