We are happy to open our lake home for an inaugural season of weekly rentals. Swimming, fishing, kayaking, peaceful walks, and chilling on the huge deck overlooking the lake are just a few ways you can spend your day.

Welcome to The Watermelon Chateau, our cute and cozy cottage in beautiful Northeast PA! Come enjoy every activity the region has to offer year round. Skiers will love the close proximity to Elk Mountain. You can also enjoy kayaking, biking, hiking, golfing and more during the warmer months. It's hard to beat an early morning coffee or evening glass of wine on the deck overlooking the water, and the fire pit is ideal for roasting marshmallows under the crystal clear night skies.

Unplugged (no WiFi) and peaceful. We provide breakfast foods. Unfortunately we cannot provide fresh breakfasts at this time, to keep our prices the same, with inflation. We hope to again in the future, if the current costs go down. A family built, tiny, timber frame. We are in a farming community, and several Amish farms dot our road.
