Beautiful summers for easy hikes and refreshing swims in the lakes of our local Groton State Forest, unbelievable foliage to view from small dirt roads, and tons of outdoor winter activities. Thank you for inquiring about my family's home away from home. I hope you'll be as happy as we are spending time so close to many family activities that remain available during all four seasons! There are ice castles, swimming, kayaking, hiking and while skiing and snowboarding is excellent and within a 30 minute drive, there's snowmobile trails at the end of our road that are also great for nature hikes . We are very excited to now be able to offer WiFi at Bear Creek Cabin!

A short drive in any direction offers 4-season outdoor recreation with nearby mountains, lakes and rivers, plus dining, culture, and entertainment options abound.

Barn Door Hostel - Campground

Our campground is located on a beautiful open field, shared with other campers. There are 14 communal fire pits and picnic tables, 3 composting toilets, as well as 3 portalets and a swimming hole in the brook alongside the property. We also have potable water at our brand new well house on the field. Tents/car camping is ideal. This campground is not designed for pop-ups/RVs.

Hebron Historic Farmhouse

The farmhouse was built between 1795 and 1800 by the ancestors of the owner. We renovated it in 2017 and added 600 square feet to the original structure. The space combines the charm of the old with the convenience of the new. We know you will love this relaxing, quiet country setting with views over a lovely meadow to the south, and Mount Crosby to the north.
