I have met lots of really lovely people through letting my chapel out on Airbnb and it's been a great experience for me.
2 storey converted chapel, full of charm and character. Pretty mezzanine level with two bedrooms, one double and one single. Bathroom with bath with overhead shower. The ground floor is open plan and gloriously light. There is a well equipped kitchen, and a lovely living/dining area. Outside, there is a paved garden. Please note that there is no parking on site. The safest option for parking is on a side street situated 200m away. Wireless broadband is good throughout the house. No smoking.
Bleasby is a picturesque and very welcoming village. The Jubilee Ponds make for lovely walks and the River Trent is just a mile away. There is a super village pub and the local tea shop is well worth a visit. The Old Chapel is just 10 minutes’ drive to the lovely Georgian town of Southwell with its beautiful Minster. Look out for the Prebendal houses, named after the Minster's parishes. There are individual shops, cafes and restaurants, 3 independent award-winning pubs and the house where the original Bramley Apple tree still grows. The historic market town of Newark on Trent and the vibrant city of Nottingham are both within easy reach, or if you prefer meandering around gorgeous countryside and villages with welcoming country pubs, you might need more than a day!

A fully-insulated warm cosy pine cabin with its own brick-built small galley kitchen and washroom with shower and toilet. Whilst the Cabin is compact, guests have been surprised at the generous space within. Surrounded by garden and woodland leading to parkland or field paths, so ideal for dog walking. You have the freedom of self catering but let us know if you would like bread and milk left in your fridge.
The Cabin is 3.1m x 2.7m with windows on 3 sides looking out on to the garden and adjacent woodland. There is a gate directly from the garden into the wood and there are woodland paths winding through the trees for walking. The whole of one wall of the Cabin can be opened up on to the garden during the warmer weather. All windows are double glazed and both the Cabin and attached kitchen and washroom can be kept toastie warm. A 3ft single bed with another 3ft single bed under which pulls out on wheels very easily and becomes the same height as the other. Both have fully upholstered mattresses , very comfortable, and they can be pushed together or left as two beds. With both beds up, whether together or as two singles, space is limited but enough room to move around. A television and DVD player, a table and two chairs complete the cabin space which is heated by three radiators. There is ample hot water at all times. The tiny galley kitchen has kettle, toaster, hot plate, microwave, small oven/grill, fridge and washing machine, plus all crockery and cutlery. The washroom contains an enclosed shower cubicle with a glass door and washbasin with separate toilet, a chest of drawers for clothes with bottom drawer which holds blankets. Towels and bedlinen are provided.
We are in a rural location and there are walks along the River Trent a short drive away, and many giving wonderful views over the Vale of Belvoir. Newark-on-Trent is 6 miles away with 2 train stations giving easy access to Nottingham or Lincoln, supermarkets, a lovely ruined castle, museums, theatre, cinema and a huge selection of places to eat. The "Fosseway Flier" bus service between Nottingham and Newark calls into our village on its way to each of those towns!! It is a 4 minute walk to the bus stop.
  • Liz und Davids Place ist sehr gemütlich und gemütlich. Sie haben alles, was Sie für einen schönen Aufenthalt brauchen.   • Ich mochte die Atmosphäre sehr und genoss meinen Aufenthalt. Elisabeth ist eine sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Person. Wir hatten nie ein Problem während unseres Aufenthaltes (3 Nächte) Schöne Aussicht auf großen Garten. Bei dem Preis würde ich nie mehr fragen. Sehr empfehlenswert.

  • Eine hübsche kleine Hütte in einem sehr schönen Garten hinter dem Haus. Es fühlte sich sehr privat und friedlich an. Leicht groß genug für unsere Bedürfnisse, sauber und komfortabel. Keine riesige Küche - ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob es großartig wäre, wenn Sie vorhaben, darin Mahlzeiten zuzubereiten - aber sorgfältig bestückt mit Cafetiere, Korkenzieher usw. (alles, was wir brauchten, haha!) Lis gab sich sehr viel Mühe zu kaufen Ich Sojamilch, weil ich keine Kühe trinke - wir fühlten uns sehr willkommen, aber auch in völliger Ruhe gelassen. Lis 'Haus liegt in einem verschlafenen Dorf in unmittelbarer Nähe einer Hauptstraße A - wir fanden es sehr leicht zugänglich, leicht zu finden und zu / von zu reisen. Es gibt kein Pub / Geschäft im eigentlichen Dorf, seien Sie sich also bewusst, dass alles eine Autofahrt entfernt ist, aber das war in Ordnung von uns. Wenn Sie ein schönes Abendessen vor Ort haben möchten, ist es ratsam, im Voraus zu buchen.

  • Elizabeth und ihr Mann waren von Anfang bis Ende tolle Gastgeber. Wir kamen früher als erwartet an und sie waren sehr zuvorkommend und erlaubten uns, früh einzuchecken. Tolle schnelle Antworten von den Gastgebern! Die Hütte ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum Verweilen. Sie ist kompakt mit allem, was Sie brauchen, um unsere Reise zu einem perfekten Kurzurlaub inmitten von Wäldern und fabelhaften Spaziergängen zu machen. Wir gingen mit unserem Hund Romeo, der alle Spaziergänge liebte und zu aufgeregt war, um an einem Platz in der Hütte zu sitzen! Schöne Landschaften und man kann sich so richtig mit der Natur verbinden. Genau das was wir brauchten :) Vielen Dank, dass Sie Elizabeth für eine so schöne Hütte und Ihre Gastfreundschaft.     We really love our historical old fashioned village. the centre is a 5 Minutes walk away which has everything you will need including a co-op supermarket,bakery, coffee shops, country pubs, post office,cafes, Pharmacy, Doctors,Dentist,etc. There are a number of lovely local countryside walks/cycle trails suitable for all ages. The village has excellent transport links to Nottingham and other local towns. Sherwood forest and the brand new excellent Robin hood visitor center at Edwinstowe are are all within an easy 30 minutes drive,From here Thorsbey Hall,Rufford park and Clumber park are very close in the heart of Sherwood forest. There are also lots of little hamlets and villages within the Nottinghamshire countryside we can certainly provide all the details you will need to plan your trip.

  • Wir waren zum ersten Mal bei Graham und Emma und es hat uns nicht enttäuscht. Es war genau die richtige Größe für eine fünfköpfige Familie, die Verwandte in Nottingham besuchte, und bot uns die Einrichtungen, die wir brauchten, um zu schlafen, zu duschen und eine Kleinigkeit zu essen, bevor wir uns auf den Weg zum Tag machten. Die Wohnung war sauber und stilvoll und bot nette kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie Brot, Butter und Milch, über die wir uns so gefreut hatten, weil wir vergessen hatten, welche auf unserer langen Reise mitzunehmen. Unser kleiner Sohn war begeistert, als er gestern Morgen Hühner an der Tür vorbeigehen sah, und freut sich darauf, wieder an dem Ort zu sein, an dem die Hühner leben.

  • Das Hotel war genau so, wie es auf den Fotos aussah. Es war warm, gemütlich und sehr gemütlich. Graham und Emma waren beide sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Kommunikation mit ihnen war so einfach. Sie sorgten dafür, dass das Hotel bei unserer Ankunft ordentlich und aufgeräumt war. sowie mit zu Hause Wesentliche ausgestattet zu haben. Es ist eine schöne, ruhige Gegend, die perfekt für einen Kurzurlaub geeignet ist, aber ideal genug ist, um in die Stadt zurückzukehren, wenn wir Lust dazu haben Ich würde das Hotel auf jeden Fall empfehlen und werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen

  • Graham und Emmas Wohnung war perfekt für uns, da wir eine Hochzeit in Bulcote hatten. Die Wohnung hatte alles, was wir brauchten und die Kommunikation war brillant. Sie ließen sogar einige köstliche Äpfel aus dem eigenen Garten und eine Reihe anderer Vorräte zurück. Würde es auf jeden Fall allen empfehlen.

    This large central heated room is on the ground floor is 1 of 3 in an end property. It has 1 double bed and 2 fold out beds if needed all with fresh duvet, pillows and fresh towels are provided, there is also storage drawers for clothes. The room is bright and airy with secure double glazing and opening windows overlooking the front of the property, there is a kettle a fridge with water, tea & coffee provided on your arrival. There is a communal bathroom at the top of the stairs and is cleaned twice a day. If you smoke there is various (smoking areas) in he back garden and can be used whenever you like. My husband and I plus 2 other rooms listed on Airbnb share the facilities with you, however we will ensure your privacy and personal needs if requested at all times. Our cat Trevor is not allowed in any Airbnb rooms and a latch on the inside and outside of the door ensures this. Observing this house rule is appreciated. The kitchen and dining room are always available for your use at all times however please appreciate although communal it is our home and personal living space.
    This is a village after all so any local information we can supply you with. There's so much to do in Carlton, Gedling & Netherfield with quick access into city 3miles away 20 mins by bus . We are green belt area so lots of beautiful country walks riverside experience and nature reserves on our doorstep. The street has free parking, quiet but busy, people are friendly locally and our neighbour's are the same, they are also approachable if needed. This is a quiet neighbourhood with a local 2mins walk Petrol Station/Supermarket/Off Licence & a friendly Bar/Restaurant that offers daily food menu. There is a nearby shopping (small) centre and then a large retail shopping park about a mile radius. We are directly next to a cricket playing field, tennis courts and bowling green.

    Welcome to my delightful guest house in the grounds of my home. Benefitting from its own private access, the living space is modern and open plan. The large shower is very powerful. It also benefits from a separate utility room including a washing machine. The master is a double, the second bedroom has bunk beds. A travel cot for under 2s is available on request. There is also a parking space just outside for your convenience. as well as an electric point for guests with an electric car.
    The property is down a private road, making this hidden gem very quiet, therefore perfect for families who want to be able to get the kids to sleep, or the business traveller who needs a quiet space to work, it's also safe for lone travellers and couples.
    The annexe is situated on the edge of the suburbs of Carlton, Gedling and Mapperley, all with their own mix of local pubs, shops and restaurants. A 15 mins drive into the heart of the city and the Motorpoint Arena. We also have the beautiful Colwick Country Park and Gedling Country Park, just a short drive away.

  • Das Haus ist sehr gut gelegen, um Nottingham mit dem Auto oder den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erkunden. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich und geräumig. Sie haben das Detail von Milch, Öl, Saucen ... Perfekt zum Kochen ausgestattet. Es hat einen sehr gepflegten Garten und Bettwäsche, Handtücher, etc. Es ist phänomenal. Die Betten sind sehr komfortabel.

    Our newly built, light and spacious holiday home consists of an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area that goes through to the master bedroom which can be made as a king bed or two single beds at your request. A beautiful bathroom forms an on-suite, adjacent to the bedroom. There is a wardrobe with extra pillows, coat hangers, a washing basket and a safe for your belongings.
    Previous guests have enjoyed the peace and quiet and of course the beautiful views and sunsets. There are a number of nearby pubs as well as great historic attractions and towns such as Newark, Nottingham City and Lincoln.
    We provide a detailed book which details all of the things you can do during your stay. There are a number of fantastic nearby villages, walks, bike riding routes and pubs that we recommend. There are also nearby historic attractions and towns such as Newark, Nottingham City and Lincoln and we can provide plenty of recommendations of what to visit.

    Epperstone has some lovely walks and a welcoming, award-winning pub serving good quality food. The most recent addition to the village is Bumbles the teashop offering breakfast, great coffee, freshly baked bread and tempting cakes.

    The Annexe is secure and safe and in a beautiful location in the Vale of Belvoir. Cropwell Bishop and Colston Bassett creamerys are close by that produce famous Stilton cheese.
    The Annexe is a very peaceful rural retreat, great for relaxing and enjoying the counryside. It is also well situated close to amenities with local pubs and shops a few minutes away. The local pub allows dogs in the bar area and serves good food. Further afield there is nightlife and shopping in West Bridgford [15mins], Newark [20 mins] or Nottingham City Centre is less than 30 mins.

The village is steeped in history and short walks to discover the stories are available.     We would like to welcome you to our self-contained annexe in the small village of Epperstone, between Nottingham and Southwell. With open countryside on the door step, there are plentiful walks, or you can just take it easy and enjoy the peace and tranquillity. Ideal accommodation for couples, babies, solo adventurers and business travellers.
    This is a garden annexe away from the main house, with plenty of safe parking. There is a TV in the main room with inbuilt DVD player. The kitchenette is equipped with fridge and washing machine, 2 ring hotplate, microwave and limited crockery, kettle, toaster, some pots and pans to make breakfast and light snacks. Towels and bed linen provided. The annexe is ideal for couples with space for a baby in a travel cot.
    Our home is in a beautiful tranquil setting within the countryside; an ideal spot for walking and bird watching. It is also a great area for cycling, wind surfing and sailing at the nearby lakes (approx 3 miles away). There is a local award winning bistro pub with great food in the village. With lots of other eateries in the surrounding villages.

The flat itself is stylish, spacious & very well presented with high spec furniture & equipment throughout giving it a luxurious and fresh feel. Our place is fully equipped with all you may require to ensure your stay is as stress free as possible. Perfect for professionals, families and small groups
    The flat has a open plan living room and kitchen area equipped with everything you need for your stay. The living room itself has 2 sofas that convert into double beds, a large smart TV from which you can utilise the amazon fire stick to watch prime movies and Netflix. There are also plenty of books and board games to keep guests entertained. The kitchen is fully fitted with all new appliances and mod cons including a wine fridge, cooking hob with integrated oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a washer dryer, iron and ironing board which is located in the airing cupboard. The bathroom has a relaxing shower and a bath which has an integrated TV in for those who take a little bit longer to bathe. Both bedrooms have comfortable double beds with fluffy pillows and quilts, mirrors, hair dryer and plenty of storage for clothes. Travel cot with bedding is available upon request, please let us know in advance..... All the artwork you will find in our apartment has been created,painted and drawn by me (Jamie) aka social artivist. We felt that by kitting out our apartment with our art, books and decor it would give you a feel about who we are as people too. So we hope you enjoy them also. Iron and ironing board, cleaning products and equipment for any accidents and a first aid box is on hand. There is a manual in the apartment with guidelines of how to work equipment and where to find the items you may need. There is ample parking in the streets surrounding the area of the apartment block. In the Carlton Square area there are numerous car parks, some require a ticket between 8am and 6pm but gives you 2 hours free parking with each ticket or you can pay £3 for 24 hours and between 6pm and 8am and on Sundays parking is free. There is also lots of free and safe parking spaces on the streets below the apartment block.
    The flat is situated in Carlton Square which is a popular location and close to the city centre. The area has an array of shops including a boots chemist, wilko's, a selection of bakeries and cafes, a launderette, greengrocers and various food places. Directly opposite the flat is a large tesco store and petrol station. The flat is in a perfect location for convenience for all needs with excellent transport links on the doorstep.     Beautiful extremely large sunny double/family room with large bay windows. Lots of storage space with tea and coffee making facilities. Separate bathroom and toilet across the landing plus a single bed room on the same landing directly next door to the double room for families please see booking details for extra guests.
    This is a large central heated double bedroom with lock & key on the first floor, with a seperate single room with lock & key adjacent. These rooms can be booked for your guest or family traveling with you, please see extra persons cost. There is a flight of stairs on to a Landing for access to the rooms. On the same landing there is a large bathroom with sink, shower and a bath with separate toilet. Downstairs on ground floor is a large front dining room with a table and chairs this is an excellent space for laptops & paperwork if you need office space or of course to eat your meals. This room is rarely used by the host so can be booked for meetings if required. A fully equipped kitchen is across the entrance hall and directly opposite to dining room. The host has their private living area on the ground floor also. The bus stop directly into the city is situated outside the house with a local supermarket to the left and a public house the 'Inn For A Penny' on the left. Theres is plenty on street parking or for larger vehicles the use of the pub carpark directly next door to the property.
    This is a village after all so any local information we can supply you with. There's so much to do in Carlton, Gedling & Netherfield with quick access into city of Nottingham which is 3 miles away 20 mins by bus. We are a green belt area so lots of beautiful country walks riverside experience and nature reserves on our doorstep. The street has free parking, quiet but busy, people are friendly locally and our neighbour's are the same, they are also approachable if needed. This is a quiet neighbourhood with a local 2mins walk Petrol Station/Supermarket/Off Licence & a friendly Bar/Restaurant that offers daily food menu. There is a nearby shopping (small) centre and then a large retail shopping park in Netherfiel about a mile radius. We are directly next to a cricket playing field, tennis courts and bowling green. there is a ten minute walk to Carlton train station with regular trains into the city or Newark & Lincoln.

    Large bedroom with double bed and en-suite bathroom. There is a wall mounted TV with over 40 channels as well as a desk for studying. The room has a large wardrobe as well as bedside tables with lamps. Fresh towels are provided and you will have access to the kitchen for any cooking requirements and the living room to relax. The property is a 15min bus ride / 8 min train ride to the city and my property is located in a peaceful cul-de-sac to guarantee a great nights sleep.
    A large double room with TV, ensuite bathroom and shower, wardrobes and drawers for storage. A quiet study area as well as a large modern kitchen with all accessories. There is a front and rear garden as well as an additional bathroom. I work and so quite often the house will be your own during the day and evening.
    The neighbourhood has everything a guest requires from supermarket, takeaways, hairdressers, bus routes, a railways station, off licence and doctors surgery. There is a leisure centre with a gym and swimming pool within close proximity too.

  • Ian ist ein toller Gastgeber und hat ein schönes Zuhause. Er hat meinen Freund und ich sehr willkommen. Das Haus ist in einer tollen Lage, wenn man ins Stadtzentrum gehen möchte. Das Bett war sehr komfortabel und das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Wir würden wieder hier übernachten.

    The accommodation we would like to welcome you to is the top floor of our victorian semi detached house in the centre of Bingham, a lovely small market town in the Vale of Belvoir with cafes, pubs, shops. A bus service every 15 minutes takes you into Nottingham and the train station is in easy walking distance. There is no separate entrance and we do have a friendly young spaniel. The stairs are steep up to the bedroom so would not be suitable for the very young or infirm.
    There is a lovely bright double bedroom and a second (bed) room with an ensuite shower room. Both rooms are for the exclusive use of guests as a suite. So you can spread out and relax in your own private space. It is possible to accommodate a family group as there is a second double bed but access to the shower room is through the second bedroom. There is a fridge, kettle, with tea and coffee making ingredients. Towels and bedding are included. A continental breakfast can be provided on request. The pretty town garden is available for the use of guests on a sunny day.
    Our house is within a two minute walk of the market square with its coffee shops, bars, shops. There is a market every thursday morning in the square and farmers and craft markets throughout the year. Belvoir Castle is only a few miles away. Bingham sits at the crossroads of the A46 which takes you to Newark or Leicester, and the A52 which takes you to Grantham or to Nottingham.

    Small but Spacious single room with a 1 X Bunk Bed and an extra sofa bed is possible if required. Furnished with drawer unit desk and chair. Brilliant cheap cosy overnight stay. The shared bathroom is on the same floor and cleaned twice daily.
    This single, light but spacious central heated room is on the 1st floor and is 1 of 3 in an end council property. It has 1 bunk beds x 2 and 1 sofa beds if needed. All fresh duvet, pillows and towels are provided, there is also storage drawers for clothes. The room is bright and airy with secure double glazing and opening windows overlooking the rear of the property, there is fresh bottled water provided on your arrival. There is a communal bathroom directly adjacent to the room and it is cleaned twice a day. If you smoke there is a sheltered outdoor space with comfortable seating. My husband and I plus 2 other rooms listed on Airbnb share the facilities with you, however we will ensure your privacy and personal needs if requested at all times. Our cat Trevor is not allowed in any Airbnb rooms and a latch on the inside and outside of the door ensures this. Observing this house rule is appreciated. The kitchen and dining room are always available for your use at all times however please appreciate although communal it is our home and personal living space. Close to Nottingham City the sites and historic places to visit easy access 5mins to bus and train station approx 15mins into city buses every 20mins. Local retail park with places to eat and high Street named shops. Public house across the road serves food and weekend entertainment. 4 other pubs locally offering live entertainment, real ales and good food.

  • Fantastisch wie immer! Das Zimmer ist so warm und gemütlich! Mit einer Flasche Wasser, einem Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer und ein paar Seifen und Feuchtigkeitscremes, falls Sie Ihre zurücklassen. Das Zimmer hat einen schönen Charakter, ebenso wie das Haus. Eine gute Dusche und ein sauberes Bad direkt neben dem Zimmer. Sehr freundliche und gastfreundliche Gastgeber - vielen Dank, dass ich mich in Ihrem Zuhause wie zu Hause fühle.

    Fosse Paddock Studios are 4 modern, clean, purpose-built, self-contained ground level studio apartments. Accommodating 2 Adults & possible 2 children. This unit door to bedroom, king sized bed, wardrobe, dresser, free view TV, Spacious bathroom, large walk-in shower, wash-basin and WC. Sitting/dining area with table, sofa bed & second free view TV, adjoining a kitchenette, ceramic hob, sink, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle, cupboards, crockery and utensils. Occasional table.
    Each unit is capable of sleeping up to four guests, typically two adults in the bedroom and up to 2 children on the sofa bed in the sitting area. To enjoy the quality of accommodation not suitable for 4 adults. They are designed as self-catering accommodation. Fosse Paddock Studios is in a quiet, rural location close to the picturesque Vale of Belvoir and easily accessed from both the A52 and A46 roads and just outside the village of Cropwell Bishop, which has amenities. Adjacent to the studios is a filling station with a small shop, where provisions can be purchased. Within 2-3 miles are the towns of Cotgrave and Bingham, both of which have a variety of amenities including shops, pubs and restaurants. The city of Nottingham is 7 miles away, which can be reached by bus from Cropwell Bishop, Bingham or Cotgrave and there is a Park & Ride facility at Shepherd’s Restaurant in Stragglethorpe , 3 miles away, with regular bus services into the city centre. A detailed directory of the local area, listing amenities and places to visit, is available in each studio.
    We have no immediate neighbours .Fosse Paddock studios stand off a short private road. Apple green filling station is close by with a small shop and is due to be redeveloped to include a coffee shop and breakfast facilities in the next few months. Bingham is only 3 miles away which has major supermarkets and many eateries and takeaways catering for all tastes.

    In the countryside. Great for walkers. Close to Southwell and Nottingham. Quiet location with an acre garden to enjoy. Depending on season you visit, lots of fruit, vegetables to pick. Cider making on site. Homemade jams, jellies, gin’s, ciders and chutneys to try.
    Enjoy the acre garden. Depending on weather, we have 3 seating areas outside. Use of a Braii. Guests have use of a dining room and lounge. But can also use the family kitchen/diner if required. Plenty of parking on the drive.
    I love living in the countryside. The walks, birdwatching and cycling. Close to Southwell, lovely walks in the countryside, yet close to Nottingham attractions

Only 200 metres from Carlton train station, a 6 minute journey from Nottingham, it is perfectly located for getting in and out of the city with ease. I am a guitar technician, and work from home, my son is taking his A-Levels. The room has TV, Wi-Fi, and a desk. There's a shared lounge, with a selection of books and DVD's. The bathroom has a roll top bath, and separate shower unit. A Nursery Room is available to book for a baby & toddler.
    Situated on a beautiful tree lined road, only 100 metres from a small park with tennis courts and bowls greens.

    The Love of Travel runs through my lovely little house in a quiet village, 15 minutes from town by bus. Ideally suited for the single traveller, couples & those who work away from home. I love meeting people from different cultures & discovering new places, will be available for any advice/help throughout your stay through the relevant mediums. I do have a job so would not always be around, but am quite happy to have a good chat and also understand that we all need our own space.
    A Lovely Victorian Mid - Terraced House which I only bought, last summer. Therefore I am still working on making it my own. You will find a Cosy Lounge, spacious Kitchen and a Bathroom on the ground floor while upstairs, Guests will just have access to the guest bedroom Has own drive and back garden with patio, so If driving you would be welcome to leave your car on the Drive. Guests will have access to the TV, DVD player in the Living Room, along with Netflix and my own DVD collection. You will also be sharing the bathroom, free towels will be provided. Will recommend where to eat and drink in Nottingham, sights to see and can provide maps etc. Discount given for weekly/monthly stays
    Colwick is a lovely little village which has a Country Park that's home to rich diverse wildlife, Colwick Racecourse ( Horses/ Greyhounds ) and it's own Primary School that houses a Short 360 aircraft which is used as a classroom. Netherfield shops ( Post Office, Co-op Supermarket, cafes, bar and numerous takeaways ) and train station ( takes you to either Grantham or Nottingham City ) are less than 10 mins walk away, Victoria Retail Park is home to a variety of retail therapy places including Morrisons Supermarket, M&S Foodhall, Costa, B&M Bargains, TKMAxx, Argos & B&Q, Lidl and KFC for the foodies. There is also a Toby Carvery on the main road, less than 10 walk. Colwick Park is a beautiful Country Park to walk around with it's 2 lakes covering 89 acres between them. Stunning in the summer but equally mesmerizing in the Autumn with the changing colours of the leaves. The West Lake at Colwick Country Park is home to the Nottingham City Open Water Swimming Centre from April to October each year. Organised swimming sessions, with lifeguards present, take place on Wednesday evenings at 6pm and Saturday afternoons at 2pm. Sports - Notts County & Nottingham Forest Football Grounds are 10/20mins away by walk/bus Trent Bridge Cricket Ground is 20/30mins away by bus/walk Motorpoint Arena is 10mins by bus, for ice hockey and concerts Theatre Royal and Concert Hall in town for shows/ concerts, 20 mins by bus Cornerhouse Complex with various restaurants and Cineworld in town too, along with Victoria Shopping Centre
