After you are provided with the knowledge from a professional, we will proceed to the vineyards so that you can put theory into practice. Visitors will have the chance to participate in all of the seasonal work (cutting branches, harvesting leaves) until summer where you'll have the opportunity to harvest the grapes. Taking under consideration the ideal location of the vineyards, after the harvest, we will pay a visit to Juchtas Mountain that is considered to be the mythical tomb of Zeus, only 10 minutes away by car! At mount Juchtas a very important royal temple of the Minoan period was unearthed, that gave information about the structure of the temples as well as religion during this period. A must see, astonishing view from the top of the mount Juchtas. At the end of the day, you will taste local flavours right by our vineyard.

E-Bike-Tour mit Weinverkostung Wir starten westlich von Heraklion am Strand von Ammoudara und fahren Richtung Süden zum Festland von Kreta. Nachdem wir das Stadtgebiet hinter uns gelassen haben, kommen wir in eine ländliche Gegend voller Weinberge und Olivenhaine. Auf der einen Seite der Route können wir den heiligen Berg Juktas und auf der anderen Seite den höchsten Berg Kretas, den Psiloritis, sehen. Das erste Dorf, auf das wir treffen, ist Gournes und nach ein paar Kilometern liegt das Dorf Athanati. Die Straße geht bergauf, bis wir das fast unbewohnte Dorf Xirollia erreichen. Dann fahren wir nach Westen und erreichen nach ein paar Kilometern die Hauptstadt des Weins auf Kreta, das Dorf Dafnes. Hier findet jedes Jahr im Juli das berühmte Weinfest statt. In dieser Gegend gibt es viele Weingüter, die die besten Weine Kretas produzieren. Hier werden wir 4 verschiedene Weine verkosten, begleitet von kretischen Käsesorten, Nüssen und Oliven. Nach der Verkostung stellen wir die Fahrräder dort ab und fahren mit dem Auto zurück zum Ausgangspunkt. Wenn es in letzter Zeit geregnet hat, ändern wir die Route, denn die bisherige Route hat einige unbefestigte Straßen und es wird Schlamm geben. Die Strecke ist insgesamt 24 km lang und jeder, der Fahrrad fahren kann, kann teilnehmen. Die Nettofahrzeit beträgt etwa 1,5 Stunden und der Höhenunterschied auf der Strecke beträgt 390 Meter. Sarakina Gorge, hiking and river trekking! A canyon full of ponds and only some climbing points, make this experience an ideal option for an adventure! What is really impressive is the large quantity of water almost all year round, that forms very beautiful waterfalls and ponds, ideal for swimming, even in summer. In winter, it is impossible to cross the gorge without getting wet. We start our adventure just 5 minutes after Mythoi village where we meet the gorge entrance. It takes about 1 to 1,5 hours to walk and climb up; in some parts you have to walk through the water, climb over rocks, or use the ropes that they put there to pull yourself up. During the trekking, we will have plenty of time for swimming under the freezing waterfalls wich makes it ideal for summer period! Its length reaches only 1.5km, but during this short course the visitor will meet an amazing wonder of the Cretan nature, a natural sculpture formed by water in millions of years. Sarakina has imposing walls reaching 150m height while Its width ranges from 3 to 10 meters, with only a few points exceeding that. The gorge area is also ideal for bird watching since there are plenty of species living and building their nests on the gorge's walls. Let's create together our own handmade traditional Cretan soap that will protect us from the CORONA virus and many other pathogenic microorganisms, without using harmful chemicals! Come with me to travel back to the time when Cretan people used to make their own Traditional Homemade Cretan Soap, using only Extra Virgin Olive Oil! Together we can make our own traditional soaps, using the recipe that my grandmother taught me, as she also learned from her mother. With my knowledge as a biochemist, we can try to develop these recipes to produce a better product, based on your needs! We will start from scratch, giving to our soap the features we will choose together, such as perfume, color or shape. The olive oil we will use is collected and prepared by me and my family without any use of insecticides and other chemical preparations! Naturally, at the end you will take the soap - you will have made with your own hands - that will be ready the next day, as a souvenir to remember this unique experience as you take your shower!!! In addition, you can take the formulation where every step is recorded all the way, if you wish to make your own soap at your place.! The whole procedure is completely safe even for young children and no specific knowledge is required on the subject. On the contrary, you will find it particularly educative and interesting!

Our well experienced and patient instructors will teach you about the equipment, preasure, equalization techniques, possition of the body, correct finning and a few skills which you will work together in shallow water before you go deeper. They will answer all your questions and makes you feel ready for the next step! Then, after choosing the equipment which fits you best, will drive to the best diving site according the weather conditions. There you will enjoy one or two dives in the open water sea! You will need to fill up a participant statement which also includes a liability release form and a medical questionnaire which purpose is to find out if you should be examined by a doctor before participating in recreational diving activities. Minimun age is 8 years old , knowledge of swimming is not necessary and the depth will be adapted to your level of confidence and the diving standards. Your safety and satisfaction is our priorities. We offer cooking lessons in Krousonas village. Super family friendly! The programme last at least 4 hours. Firstly we will welcome you with some cretan delights and refreshments . We will discuss the menu and you can choose from the season options(vegan or not) what would you like to cook. Secondly we will visit the farm , we will feed the goats and sheeps and if its summer probably you can also milk the goats! In continue when you choose menu (vegan or not) we go to gather our organic vegetables from our orchard, you wiil have time to explore nature, breath fresh air, learn important information about the plant and of course live the experience cutting the fresh vegetables and fruit. When we collect our vegetables , we learn how we use every ingredient in our kitchen, how does it help our health, about the appropriate quantities we use and we start to how prepare our meal and how we cook. You will learn all the secrets of cretan cuisine with us . (It depends from the season you can also taste and watch the production of cheese.) every day we organize safari with quad . Our Adventure Starts from the small village of Karteros, where we will have a 25 minute breafing on safety and instructions on operating ATVs. Then we will ride up the mountains of Karteros and visit the uncharted Labyrinth cave, (Quad) from where we will continue our way past Prasa village to Skalani, riding through vineyards and olive groves. Our next stop will be in the forest near the church of St.Irene, where we will visit the old church and enjoy the countryside. We will continue to the Mt. Juktas Ecological Park in Archanes, an extrodinary archeological site of Fourni where we will see the Municipal Contemporary Theater and enjoy the panoramic views. We’ll have lunch at an Greek tavern. After we will continue our route and explore the Gorge of Karteros . All the way through our journey we will have the opportunity to take photos at some of Crete’s most amazing scenery, and our guide will share information about each location we visit.
