We depart at 6am (pick up might start up to 30 minutes before). It's a 2-hour road trip with beautiful sights of the mountains to get to the town where we are having a typical dominican breakfast.
After breakfast, we begin our journey. It's a 3 to 4-hour route within hiking, swimming, climbing, etc. Swimming is mandatory (no need to know how to swim, you'll have a life vest). Water is cold. You can leave your bags in the car while hiking.
After hiking, we change clothes (by the car, there's no restroom). Then we go back to the town to have a dominican lunch. We come back happy and with good memories to Santo Domingo at 5pm.

Enjoy authentic Salsa or Bachata dancing in the heart of Santo Domingo, with an experienced, professional and friendly dance instructor. We have a good balance of learning and practical dance.
We meet in Zona Colonial and visit a few of the iconic dance bars & clubs. Enjoy a friendly night full of dancing and fun. With an introduction to other dancers.
I teach Bachata/Salsa beginner-intermediate. For more advanced learning I bring an additional instructor.

Going Deep Into The Authentic Dominican Hood
We will meet at our local fishermen dock where we will start our adventure and then we will visit a local market, local shops, walk inside the neighborhood, eat local and authentic breakfast, visit a typical house, eat Dominican ice cream (helado de fundita), visit the neighborhood’s sign, interact with the locals and taste Dominican coffee. We will also ride the Santo Domingo’s cable car, where you will see a good amount of colorful neighborhoods from above all the way from the national district to Northern Santo Domingo, hear their history, and also ride the Santo Domingo’s train. Then back to the entrance of the train station where we will end our trip.
Additional: A boat ride can be included at an additional charge passing underneath six of the most important bridges in Santo Domingo, seeing the tree where Christopher Columbus tied up his ships during his visits to Santo Domingo, Christopher Columbus son’s castle, first chapel built in America and the jail-fortress where Christopher Columbus was incarcerated.

Abenteuer mit verstecktem Wasserfall und Drei-Augen-Höhle
Discover a hidden waterfall in the greenest province of the Dominican Republic and the mysterious 3 Eyes Cave with us! This 20-meter-high waterfall, along with the most magical cave in the Dominican Republic, will allow you to immerse yourself in Nature, enjoy spectacular views, and live a true Dominican experience.
We'll meet at Columbus Park in the Colonial Zone to start our journey to the waterfall, 50 minutes from the city. Enjoy scenic landscapes and dive into Dominican culture along the way.
On arrival, be welcomed by authentic Dominican coffee prepared by Doña Ramona, we will take a 15-minute walk through a tropical scene to reach the stunning 20-meter-high waterfall. The path is steep but safe.
After spending about two and a half hours swimming, taking photos, and exploring our favorite secret spot we will return to the starting point for a delicious traditional Dominican lunch, perfect for relaxing and enjoying local cuisine.
Say goodbye to the waterfall and prepare for a 45-minute ride towards Santo Domingo to visit the famous 3 Eyes cave. Here, we'll explore its amazing caves and underground lakes while learning about its fascinating history.
Then we'll head back to Columbus Park, ending a day full of adventure, new experiences, and new friends.

Tagesausflug: Entdecke Los Tesoros De Puerto Plata
Vámonos a descubrir los encantos de Puerto Plata, salimos desde Santo Domingo a las 5:30Am y nos dirigimos hasta la Ciudad de Puerto Plata que se encuentra a unas 2h 30M, en nuestro transporte te ofrecemos un Sándwich y un jugo para que puedas desayunar y vamos disfrutando del paisaje de la zona norte de Republica Dominicana.
Nuestra primera parada en Puerto Plata es en el teleférico para subir unos 793 metros a la montaña Isabel De Torres sobre la ciudad de Puerto Plata y disfrutar de su Cristo Redentor, Una imitación de una casita típica antigua, El corazón de los enamorados, el Túnel verde y sus senderos llenos de lugares mágicos para unas espectaculares fotos.
Luego nos dirigimos a la Calle Rosada (callejón de Doña Blanca), La calle de las sombrillas, visitamos una tienda de recuerdos, una parada en la chocolatería y de allí nos dirigimos almorzar en un restaurant típico de la zona.
Al terminar el almuerzo nos vamos hasta el malecón de Puerto Plata donde encontraremos el letrero temático con el nombre de la ciudad, seguimos a la fortaleza san Felipe y por ultimo el anfiteatro de la ciudad a orillas del Océano atlántico.

We will walk throught the "Sendero del Eden" where we will see trees and a beautifull cave named "La Cueva del Eden", here we will go into the Cave and observe the stalactites and stalagmites.
Then we will visit our Fogón where we will grind cocoa, make casava like our ancestors and roast coffee.
After that...
We will take you to cave brujuela so you can swim under ground , a space with 15 meters below, with natural water, while you wait for the food to be prepared in the fogon. At the end we will have a surprise for everyone!!! To enjoy!!!

We will be outdoors, the caves are rocky so we must have safe closed shoes, sunscreen and repellent, we will use stairs, and we will have access to parking, bathroom and shower.

Looking for things to do in Dominican Rpublic? Ready to explore the Dominican desert and its sand dunes, salt ponds and coral reefs?
We depart at 6:30am (Pickup might start up to 30 minutes before), take a 2-hour road trip to Salinas, with some stops on the way.
Our first stop is for an authentic Dominican breakfast at a local place. After that, we visit the sand dunes and spend some time learning about them, taking pictures, and of course, sandboarding. I'm not a certified instructor, we're just having fun. No experience required.
After having fun at the dunes, we walk through the salt mines and its pink lakes, where we see the salt process and workers taking salt out of the lakes.
Our last attraction is playa El Derrumbao, where we are going to do some snorkeling. To get there, we take a 20 minute walk (one way) under the hot sun. We walk into the beach with urchins and grab the goggles to watch the coral reefs and fish underwater. It's beautiful!
Then, we walk back and change clothes by the car. There's no dressing room, Then we go back to the same local place for some authentic Dominican lunch. After lunch, we return to Santo Domingo, happy and tired at around 5pm.

Conjuntamente con nuestro guia de la comunidad, conoce la interesante historia de la fundación del barrio, la vida cotidiana, como trabajan (mercaditos, tiendecitas, proyectos de peces), como se desarrollan en el aspecto social y como se divierten (Incluyendo unos bellísimos cenotes con aguas de manantial). Degusta algunas de las comidas populares más icónicas de la ciudad preparadas por expertos locales. Es una oportunidad también para conocer la realidad de los barrios marginados de República Dominicana escuchando y viendo algunos de sus problemas sociales y el cómo la comunidad se está empoderando para resolverlos de manera creativa, alegre y colaborativa.
Verás todo esto, y tan solo caminaremos unos tres kilómetros y medio. Es un recorrido fácil, aunque en algunas pocas ocasiones puede ser demandante solo por una empinada colina que la haremos despacio y aprendiendo del lugar. Cuando regresemos, nos despediremos con una cerveza helada escuchando merengue, bachata y dembow junto a los locales.

We depart at 6am (pickup might start 30 minutes before). It's a 2-hour road trip with beautiful sights to get to a typical dominican breakfast.
After breakfast, we begin our 5-hour journey to La Culebra waterfall: we go uphill, then downhill to the creek. Then we hike/climb upstream to the waterfall and spend some time there. Then we go downstream to the top of a 27m high waterfall (Tabernacle waterfall, my other experience) and rappel it down. Then we keep going downstream through several waterholes until the end, with different options to get down.
This is a strenuous route. If you're out of shape, don't book it. You must not have injuries. No rapel experience required
After hiking, we change clothes (by the car, there's no restroom). Then we go back to the town to have a dominican lunch. We come back happy and with good memories to Santo Domingo at around 5pm.

Estaremos realizando el recorrido mientras conduces la eco-amigable patineta, y tus ojos contemplan las calles y personas que conectan y dan vida a la zona. Incluyendo los centros históricos más destacados de la ciudad colonial, con una breve explicación de su historia que a los tiempos de Colon hara a tu mente remontar.
Conocerás las casas coloniales, colmados, negocios, comerciales, monumentos como el Alcazar de Colon, calle El Conde, Parque Montesinos, Catedral Primada de America. Veras los parques más pintorescos y vivirás una hermosa experiencia.
Abenteuer mit verstecktem Wasserfall und Drei-Augen-Höhle
Discover a hidden waterfall in the greenest province of the Dominican Republic and the mysterious 3 Eyes Cave with us! This 20-meter-high waterfall, along with the most magical cave in the Dominican Republic, will allow you to immerse yourself in Nature, enjoy spectacular views, and live a true Dominican experience.
We'll meet at Columbus Park in the Colonial Zone to start our journey to the waterfall, 50 minutes from the city. Enjoy scenic landscapes and dive into Dominican culture along the way.
On arrival, be welcomed by authentic Dominican coffee prepared by Doña Ramona, we will take a 15-minute walk through a tropical scene to reach the stunning 20-meter-high waterfall. The path is steep but safe.
After spending about two and a half hours swimming, taking photos, and exploring our favorite secret spot we will return to the starting point for a delicious traditional Dominican lunch, perfect for relaxing and enjoying local cuisine.
Say goodbye to the waterfall and prepare for a 45-minute ride towards Santo Domingo to visit the famous 3 Eyes cave. Here, we'll explore its amazing caves and underground lakes while learning about its fascinating history.
Then we'll head back to Columbus Park, ending a day full of adventure, new experiences, and new friends.

Conocerán los lugares más emblemáticos de la Ciudad Colonial de Santo Domingo, su historia, anécdotas, paseo por sus calles, entrada al interior de los monumentos y museos (San Nicolás de Bari, Panteón de la Patria, Museo de las Casas reales, entre otros) con la oportunidad de explorar su belleza y encanto.
Desde una visita al interior, descubrirán los tesoros y secretos que guarda cada rincón visitado de la ciudad colonial, ademas disfrutarán de un recorrido demostrativo sobre destilación de una de nuestras bebidas, marca país y hasta podrán saborearla y muchas sorpresas más.

Enjoy authentic Salsa or Bachata dancing in the heart of Santo Domingo, with an experienced, professional and friendly dance instructor. We have a good balance of learning and practical dance.
We meet in Zona Colonial and visit a few of the iconic dance bars & clubs. Enjoy a friendly night full of dancing and fun. With an introduction to other dancers.
I teach Bachata/Salsa beginner-intermediate. For more advanced learning I bring an additional instructor.
Please let me know if you would like a salsa or bachata focused experience.

7.30-9.30pm: Learning experience. Structured personal class followed by social dancing in bars
9.30-11.30pm: Strictly Dancing experience- social dancing in bars
No classes after 9pm.

¡El tour a la Isla Saona es una experiencia para toda la vida! Esta isla es sin duda el destino más deseado y visitado por los turistas locales e internacionales, la Saona no sólo es famosa por sus majestuosas playas y la diversión que ofrece este tour, sino también por su increíble valor histórico y cultural.
La Isla Saona no es un destino más, la Isla Saona tiene 110 kilómetros de costa pura y hermosas playas de fina arena blanca, es parte fundamental del Parque Nacional Cotubanamá y es el hábitat natural de infinidad de especies marinas y terrestres, animales, peces y aves migratorias endémicas, entre las especies que habitan la Isla Saona.
A las 9:30 nos reuniremos frente a nuestra oficina desde donde comenzará nuestra aventura. Alrededor de las 10 de la mañana subirán al Catamarán con barra libre y música para iniciar su travesía hacia la Isla Saona por el Mar Caribe, a mitad de la navegación tendrán una parada de 45 minutos en la hermosa piscina natural , una vez pasado el tiempo, avanzarán su travesía hasta llegar a la Isla Saona donde disfrutarán de unas 3 horas 30 minutos. Allí le estará esperando un almuerzo buffet caliente en la playa y muchas tumbonas para relajarse.
Aproximadamente a las 16:00 horas embarcará en una lancha rápida para regresar a Bayahibe sobre las 17:00 horas.

We will walk the UNESCO-listed Colonial District, where a large majority of the island’s cultural highlights can be found. As we go you will spot by the hand of a local a different point of view on how we live and enjoy this historical site. We will explain about the city's history, nature and vibrant culture.
We we'll leave you for further exploring or having a good local meal.
