Das Brookside Cottage ist neu renoviert und von Wald in den Bergen im Westen von North Carolina umgeben. Ein Gebirgsbach fließt vor dem Ferienhaus hinunter und bietet ein erholsames Wasserspiel. Die Gegend liegt im Landkreis Transylvania zwischen Brevard und Cashiers und trägt den Namen „Land of Waterfalls“. Vorräte (Essen, Getränke usw.) sind 2 Meilen vom Ferienhaus entfernt erhältlich. Achtung bei tief liegenden Autos/Sportwagen: Die letzte halbe Meile zu diesem Ferienhaus ist eine Schotterstraße und man muss einen kleinen Bach durchqueren.
