Located just 25 minutes north of York by car, 5 miles from Castle Howard, less than 1 hour from the coast; Whitby, Scarborogh. We also have 3 other lets for 3 more couples, if you're coming with friends.

The cottage is an ideal location for brides or guests attending weddings in the local area or anyone else looking to explore the beautiful countryside! The cottage boasts a spacious kitchen/dining space, open plan bedroom with dressing room area and en-suite bathroom. We are located in Lealholm, 8 miles outside of Whitby & approx 2.8miles from Danby Castle.

The Parcel Shed Gilling East

This fabulous little bolt hole is a converted, 19th century railway shed in the picture postcard village of Gilling East. Brilliantly located on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, it offers cosy and self contained , shepherds hut style accommodation less than 300 meters from a lovely country pub. Five miles from Helmsley and a short drive from Castle Howard, the Parcel Shed retains its original beams and enjoys beautiful views over the lower reaches of the Ampleforth Valley.

A popular area for cycling and walking, Stillington is a pretty village with three pubs/restaurants, cafe, shop and post office.

Self-contained peaceful studio, close to York

Modern studio annex to 1850s cottage with its own access, close to to the stunning city of York. Looks onto big family garden, feels like a country retreat but only 15 minutes' easy and beautiful river walk from city centre. Well behaved pets welcome. Should the annex be booked for your preferred dates, do look up our shepherds hut. Please note that ‘cancelled dates’ mentioned in the March 2020 reviews were due to government Covid regulations - not us!

The Retreat

The Retreat is set in a rural location and has lots of original features with a modern feel. With ample off road parking and close to the Stillington-Easingwold road its the perfect base to come back to after a visit to the many local attractions. The market town of Easingwold is 2 miles away and the City of York is 12 miles. The North York moors are close to hand and if you fancy venturing further you have the coast and the Yorkshire dales

The Caravan @ Tadpole

Set in a private garden, next to Woodland and open fields, posh camping with the luxuries! 10 miles from York city, and a bus stop 15 min walk away. Pocklington is approx 3 miles away and is the nearest market town for shops. Ideal location if your ready to turn off your phone, put your feet up, and chill with nature. The Caravan can also be used with Tadpole for family reunions, Birthdays or just fiends getting together.
