Nestled amidst the quaint little village of Hamta, is our 50-year-old traditional Himachali mud house. We refurbished this old house to classic interiors while keeping the old world charm alive. We have 6 rooms but listed only 2 here. Please contact if you need more rooms. Our Lodge is located in an echo friendly area. All are equipped with AC, Wi Fi, Hot & Cold water. Have a newly built common area for dinning & cooking . We provide a COMPLEMENTARY breakfast. Kandy city center is 12 minutes (5.5 KM) away. We can arrange day trips to visit tea estate, water falls, ancient ruins, museum etc.. A upon advance request we are able to provide dinner.

Kankarwa Haveli

The Kankarwa Fort northeast of Udaipur still stands testimony to the family’s rich history. Early in the 19th century, the Maharana gave the Thakur of Kankarwa permission to build an urban house in Udaipur City. Construction began around 1820 and is presently known as Kankarwa Haveli. In 1993 the family began renovation work and within two years Kankarwa Haveli opened its doors for travellers while remaining the city dwelling of the original family.

The Square Peg is a quirky hotel with breathtaking views of the entire city of Kandy including the historic Temple of the tooth, the Kandy lake, the old Bogambara prison and the Hanthana mountain range. Located halfway up the legendary Bahirawakanda hill it is within a 4 minute drive from the Kandy Railway station (1.1km) 10 minutes by foot. 1Km to the Temple of the tooth and the Kandy lake. My property is right on the beach with my own private parking at the back, but also walking distance to the main road. We have farm land behind us with wild peacocks, chickens, monkeys, and cows roaming freely. We can organise boat trips to Pigeon Island where you can snorkel above coral and swim with multicoloured fish and reef sharks. We also have a diving centre right next door. Please note we also have friendly dogs.

We are located between two of the most beautiful beaches in south Sri Lanka, Hiriketiya and Pehebhiya, both of which are a short 5-10 minute walk away from the villas. The property is home to 2 individual private pool villas which sit side-by-side. The villas have been lovingly designed by us and filled with carefully curated décor and furnishings.
