Leave the buzz of the city behind as you descend the stairs to the calm oasis of this property which is set on the lower ground floor of a traditional Oxford Town House and based a few minutes walk from the vibrant residential area of North Oxford with its wine bars, shops and restaurants. Where possible, Guests will be welcomed to the apartment on arrival. If this is not possible, the key will be left in the lock box next to the apartment door, details of which will be sent with the final confirmation. Summertown is a picturesque area with independent restaurants, charming cafes, and boutique shops within walking distance. Stroll through the beautiful Port Meadow area along the River Thames and head into the center of Oxford just minutes away by bus. Based on the Woodstock Road access to Oxford City Centre is easy via the regular buses which stop directly outside the property. To walk, the town centre is 1.2 miles and takes approximately 20 minutes. Taxi's come quickly and cost about £5. We recommend 001 Taxis. Summertown and all its amenities are very close and easily accessible on foot. We are well place for a trip to the very popular Bicester Village Outlet Centre or adventures in the Cotswolds including Blenheim Palace, buses run regularly from the Woodstock and Banbury Roads. TRAVEL / PARKING TRAIN Trains to Oxford from London leave from both London Paddington and London Marylebone. Two stations serve the town; Oxford Town and Oxford Parkway. If you arrive at Oxford Town the S3 bus (Stop R5) will bring you directly to the apartment. Busses leave on the hour and every 20 minutes in the day. Get off at Beech Croft Road - we are directly opposite the stop. If you arrive at Oxford Parkway there are regular buses to the Banbury road (one block away), or about £9 in a taxi. Personally we prefer the new Marylebone train and get off at Parkway. BUS The 'Oxford Tube' or 'C90' provide an excellent bus service, every 10 minutes, day and night, to and from London and is cheaper than the train - about £12 return. The quickest way to the apartment is to get off at Thornhill and take a taxi (book taxi from bus, 001 or A1 Taxies are good). Alternatively you can stay on the bus into town, Gloucester Green, and then get a bus up the Woodstock Road (book this exrtra bus ticket when you book your Oxford Tube ticket and they'll include it in the price). PARKING Parking in Oxford is extremely difficult. For small/medium cars we can make parking at the property available via prior arrangement. Alternatively we can give you local parking permits. Free overnight parking is available at the top of Bainton Road (opposite) from 2pm to 10am Mon-Sat and all day on Sunday.

Cute 1 bed Townhouse in Jericho

A beautiful and charming one-bedroom Victorian townhouse built in 1835, with a private courtyard garden. A unique, quirky experience. Situated in Oxford's cool suburb of Jericho, its quiet location is walking distance from all the famous historic sights, and closer still to the vibrant local restaurant, pub and bar scene. My 84 reviews averaging 4.95 stars over the last few years don't show here, as I have recently moved off an agent's platform and Airbnb's tech didn't let me move them over!

It has a cosy feel, having a large double & a twin room on the first floor, sharing a bathroom. Also family/attic room having an en-suite shower room, with one single bed & a double (having views of the rooftops & St. Barnabas church tower),kitchen(with fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave & double oven), dining room, lounge,a small private outdoor area, with table & chairs.

This garden lodge is in the garden of a family home, with flexible accommodation for solo adventurers, solo business travelers and visiting students and academics all 25 years of age and over. With a good level of English and must be contactable by Watsapp please. Nearby are bus links to London & Airports, Colleges, Botanical Gardens, lovely restaurants & cafes and parks. This studio is almost in the centre of Oxford and we think you will get the full flavour of all sides of Oxford life.

A luxury 2 bed appt close to the centre of Oxford. Situated in the street described by James Curl as "the most interesting street in Oxford". Inside both bedrooms have comfy Hypnos beds, goose down quilts with 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets. Each room has a flat screen TV. The second bedroom also has doors onto a small south facing terrace with table and chairs. The perfect place for afternoon cocktails or an alfresco meal. The kitchen has good quality Miele and Bosch appliances.

Superb prime central Oxford location, a *very* quiet street in the heart of Jericho behind Oxford Uni Press. Small (517ft2/48m2) late 19th century redbrick townhouse. Self-check-in from 08:00. Very clean. Large desk. Reliable broadband. Netflix. Two toilets. Pretty garden. Great local restaurants, cafés, delis. Ashmolean & Port Meadow both a short walk. Local supermarket 3m, city centre 10m. I'm a superhost with 11 years' experience, not an agent. I personally inspect before every check-in.

This is a modern one-bedroom apartment in the heart of Oxford city centre on the famous George Street. The location is absolutely perfect! Oxford University colleges are within very short walking distance. Famous attractions like the Bodleian Library, Harry Potter locations tour, Christ Church Meadow and Oxford Castle are within a short walk. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. It's a two-minute walk from the main bus station (Gloucester Green) and close to the train station.
