Our guesthouse is located in a dead-end street just a 10-minute walk away from the centre of Zaandam (with restaurants, bars and shops). Free parking . The guesthouse is in our backyard, which is so quite that you think you are in the countryside instead of just 30 minutes away from downtown Amsterdam which is very easy to be reached. Your stay is including 2 free bikes! The house is private and comfortable. Our prices are including Euro 5 tourist tax per person/night. So no additional charges!

Omschrijving Bed and breakfast In a Glasshouse is gevestigd in Oostwoud in het hart van Westfriesland. Het is een cottage-achtige woning gelegen achter ons glasatelier in de diepe tuin aan het water. Het is te huur als B&B maar ook als vakantiewoning voor een langere periode. Er is o.a. een Grand Cafe De Post om de hoek waar heerlijk gegeten kan worden en een pizza eettentje Giovanni Midwoud die ook bezorgd. Er is tegen betaling een motorbootje aanwezig. On the second floor of a rebuilt traditional Waterland house is this beautifully renovated apartment, once used as a hayloft. Located in the protected natural area of the Zeevang polder land (EU Natura 2000), famous for its birds like godwits, spoonbills, and lapwings. The view it offers is among the most beautiful in the Netherlands. Middelie is very near Amsterdam (25 km). Other historical places like Edam, Volendam, Marken, Hoorn, and Alkmaar are never far away (5–30 min. by car).

It’s decorated with modern art and vintage details. From the studio you will step out on your private terrace. Studio offers free coffee and tea as well as free WiFi. Breakfast is available upon request (€12,50 per person). Situated 25 minutes from Amsterdam. Please note the studio is best accessible by car.

Charming fisherman's cottage

In the oldest part of the famous fishing village Volendam, you’ll find this charming cottage. The oldest part was built in 1890. The 19th century styled living room gives a cozy (or as the Dutch say "gezellig") feel to your stay. There is WIFI in the cottage. The cottage is ideal for two people, but there is ample space for a third person (adult or 2 children when max. age of 6), to sleep in a typically Dutch 'bedstee' on the ground floor.
