Island Watch

A cozy spot for adventurers to crash. This mother-in-law style apartment is below our home just 3 miles from downtown Homer. We have kids, cats, dogs, chickens, bunnies, and two horses, it’s nothing short of an actual zoo/circus around here. While your unit is private, there will be any of the above mentioned running around in the yard at any given time. We can’t promise you won’t hear occasional footsteps but we will promise to “whisper yell” at our kids to not run in the house :)

Nestled in a wooded, private setting, this home was built in 2019. Enjoy the incredible views of Kachemak Bay, the Kenai mountains, three of our 5 visible glaciers and the Homer Spit. It is only a 3 minute drive to town, restaurants and medical facilities. Take a scenic 20 minute walk via the Reber Trail into town or Bishops Beach. Our home is ADA approved and wheel chair accessible. The Corry House is named in memory of Lt Paul Garay who served on the USS Corry and his wife Flo.

Our home is nestled on a quiet, dead-end street minutes from the heart of Homer, restaurants, the Spit, airport, shopping, parks, and the hospital with parking for boat/RV. Sleep to the sound of the sea! The Surf Shack on Hesketh Island is perfect for a small family or a couple and is glamping at its finest. It sits in the trees, 30 feet from the beach, overlooking the water and Yukon Island. This is a remote island property and can only be accessed by boat. We provide water taxi transport with True North Kayak Adventures. Pricing is $85/adult and $75/12 and under, round trip. Kayak and SUP trips are also available as well as rentals.
