Our favourite pub. Totally unpretentious, not even a sign outside. But friendly, great beers, good simple food (try the soup of the day). Can be chilly in winter despite open log fires (so take a warm jacket). Outside loos can be chillier still. But all part of the character. Also a good destination to cycle to, along Strawberry Line to Thatcher's Cider and on a bit along back lanes.

Step back in time in this beautiful,quaint,rural old pub. Real Ale from some of the south west best brewery. They only serve food at lunchtime but its really good home cooked pub grub no frills.. no chips! lovely wood burning fires and in the summer a small but pretty garden but you have to get there early in order to get a place. WELCOME TO THE CROWN INN The Crown Inn is a drinker’s pub through and through. Real ale from some of the South West’s best breweries is served straight from the barrel and there’s plenty of ciders to choose from too. If you do get peckish at lunchtime, choose from hearty homemade soups, beef casserole and chilli, all served with chunks of deliciously crusty bread.

Superb real ale pub with open fires and beer straight from the barrel. Quite basic inside but brilliant beers with a large choice. Also does pub grub, is dog friendly and has a garden.
