Another natural Jacksonville highlight, Amelia Island State Park boasts 200 acres of beaches, marshes, and lush forest. It's a popular spot around Jacksonville for horseback riding. Booking a horseriding tour, you’ll get a glimpse of what life used to be like and what Florida looked like in years gone by.
Fun beach on the south end of the island where you can drive your 4x4. Lots of fishing to be done in this area as well. You can choose to go to the Atlantic side for more wave and surf action or stay on the inlet side for nice calm waters and fishing.
Everywhere is a beach area almost if there is water involved. Nice and quiet walks etc.
