Safe Harbor Burnside is located on beautiful Lake Cumberland and is adjacent to General Burnside Island State Park in Burnside, Kentucky. Lake Cumberland is surrounded by tree covered hills and adorned with hundreds of secluded, peaceful coves. It is truly a boater’s paradise with a calm, relaxing atmosphere that prevails throughout many areas of the lake. Lake Cumberland has a surface area of 63,000 acres and is 101 miles long with an average depth of 90ft. It is famous for its 1,255 miles of shoreline. Safe Harbor Burnside is a full-service marina that offers both open and covered wet slips, transient slips, and small boat rentals through our partners at Safe Harbor Rentals. During the summer season, we have a Café located on the water and close to our Ship’s Store. We are also just a short distance from Somerset, KY which offers excellent shopping and many other activities such as concerts, music festivals, car shows, craft shows, and more.
