Clos Malverne undoubtedly offers delicious food, but the reason I love to visit the restaurant is for their wine and ice-cream pairing. From gingerbread and chocolate to biltong and caramelised onion, this pairing experience is an explosion of flavours and a must for wine connoisseurs and ice cream lovers alike!

Wine estate and spa on the edge of Stellenbosch in the beautiful Devon Valley area. Known for their signature Food and Wine Pairing 4-course lunches, which are very affordable, the venue also offers stunning views over the vineyards and surrounding mountains of Stellenbosch. Highly recommended.

The longer drive is definitely worth it, food and wine are exceptional. Please do book first because they don’t always have a table available.
