Wonderful Views, a short uphill 10 min walk, or keep going along the loader walk for an hour return trip along the top of the Hoddle range.... or park in Fish Creek and walk a 5 hour loop along the rail trail and the Hoddle mountain trail.
Loader Walk begins at Mount Nicoll (see Mount Nicoll Lookout) and encompasses the beautiful views visible from the lookout as well as an interesting array of flora as you traverse the land between Foster and Fish Creek known locally as the Hoddle. 45 minutes return, the trail is rugged in places but enjoyable, offering rural and Prom views. Best on a clear day as cloudy conditions can substantially affect visibility.

2km walk, stunning views over corner inlet and Wilsons Prom. Best on a clear day
Mt Nicoll is the highest peak on the Hoddle, the affectionate name given to the hill region between Fish Creek and Foster by locals. An easy, inclined walk to a spectacular views (on a clear day) of Corner Inlet and Wilsons Promontory. There is an option for an extended walk (Loader Track) to the comms tower through bush and open paddocks which showcases a variety of native plants. The turn off for the Mt Nicoll lookout is on the left when travelling from Foster along the Foster-Fish Creek road.
