Great open green space to relax and explore, with sandstone historical buildings. Lots of history and charm.

Take a run, walk or ride down to Callan Park on the 'bay', it was once a mental institution but is now enjoyed by all in the Inner West as a great recreational park. Take the 8km famous bay walk and stop off for a coffee on the way.

Callan park is a 5 min walk away. Sydney College of the Arts, NSW Ambulance Headquarters and the NSW Writer's Centre are all found within the park (which was formerly a psychiatric hospital). It is also part of the "Bay walk/run". The film "Cosi" was set and filmed in parts of the park.
