Take a stroll around the deer park looking out across Jack Sound to Skhomer Island, at the right time of years you will see seal pups and puffins

Martins Haven is set in a sheltered, rocky cove and backed a steep bank of shingle and pebbles behind. Beyond this is the road leads down to the beach, forming a slipway. The beach is close to the Skomer Marine Nature Reserve and this is where you catch the boat for the two mile trip to visit the Island. This is one for the nature lovers with an abundance of bird and sea life to be seen. Diving is also a popular pastime here. as the nature reserve extends well beyond the coast. Nearby is Lockley Lodge which is a visitor centre owned by the Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales. It is also close to pretty Marloes Village and you will find a good range of B&Bs and campsites in the surrounding area. -Pay and Display parking Postcode SA62 3BJ

My personal favourite place to go. A short walk around the end of Marloes Peninsular. Lots of seals to see in autumn as they occupy the rocky bays below the cliffs. Dramatic coastal scenery, wildlife, heather, wildflowers and breathtaking rock and sea views.

Close to Gorse Bank with parking (national trust, hence expensive 🤔) Small cove where the Dale Princess ferry operates over to Skomer . Check the Skomer website for timetables and prices
