Hvar’s Theatre (and Arsenal) are one of the first and the oldest theatres in Europe. It was founded in 1612 and erected on the ancient Arsenal (a space used for repairing of galleons)!

Built in the 13th century. The Theatre was built on the first floor of the arsenal in 1612. It is one of the oldet in Europe and the first municipal one as well.
