Beautiful and pristine beach, about 20 minutes drive from Casa Aire. Super recommended spot to visit.

Off the beaten path, hidden and virgin beach with white sand and pristine waters. Great place to snorkel and swim. The walk to the beach is downhill and can take a good 15-20 minutes . Proper footwear and bug repellent for the walk is recommended. There are no washrooms or restaurants around so pack your essentials.

Calzón de pobre, and her sister Playa Penca (which is right next to it) is a country favorite beach. They used to be empty until they became Tiktok famous. You will need a 4x4 to get there, mainly on the way back. If you don't have a 4x4 you can leave your car before the first downhill and walk down. There is a lot of walking to do, you could also rent a boat to get there. But the beaches are worth it, white sand and light blue water.

Only a 10-min drive from Playas del Coco. White sand beach with clear, turquoise water, very clean with tress and shade around. Only walking access, you must park your car 500m before and walk down to the beach. It is a nice walk but steep. Great for a short hike with amazing views but it can feel steep to some people. Sunset is not visible from the beach but you can enjoy one of our favorite sunsets in Guanacaste from the parking area overlooking the Papagayo Gulf on side and often views to the volcanos on the other.
