Here you find a true Archipelago restaurant and a bistro by the sea, as well as a small boutique during season. Grinda Wärdshus also has saunas for rent. There's a farm which you can visit all year round. Grinda is an island funded by the Archipelago foundation which you can take beautiful walks/hikes around. From Vårholma it's a 20-30 minute ferry ride, and a 10 minute motorboat ride.

After just an hour's boat journey from Stockholm, you disembark at Grinda, in the middle of lush archipelago nature. It is a popular and well-visited destination that offers hotels, hostels, guest harbors and cabins for rent, as well as a country store, ice cream stand, café and restaurant. As well as farming, grazing land, bare cliffs and lush greenery to wander through. It was the director of the Nobel Foundation, Henrik Santesson, who in 1906 bought Grinda and had a thousand square meter Art Nouveau palace built as a summer residence for himself and his family. The large stone villa today forms Grinda Wärdshus. The whole of Grinda is today a nature reserve, with agriculture and animal husbandry as prerequisites for the landscape to be kept open and alive. Coniferous forest, leafy groves, open farmland and grazing animals with chickens frolicking make the walk across the island, between Grinda's two piers, a crowd pleaser. The concept for Grinda in summer also includes a varied range of activities, such as music evenings, regattas and barbecue evenings.
