Local, hidden gem. Funky, alternative, low lighting ambience. Some live music or DJs. Great espresso martinis. Can walk to this from home.

Junk Bar is Brisbane’s first original hole in the wall suburban bar. Wedged between a fish and chip shop and a chinese takeaway - step inside the velvet curtains and forget who you are and where you have been before now. SKUKUM LOUNGE SHOWS - In the last three years since it’s been open - The Skukum Lounge has become one of Brisbane’s premier music venues. Strictly 50 capacity- it has hosted the likes of Robert Forster (The Go Betweens) Stephen Cummings (The Sports) Michael Hurley, Kristin Hersh, Ryley Walker, Kim Salmon, John Smith, Dave Graney and Mick Thomas just to name a few of the national and international acts that have graced its tiny stage.
