West Queen West is a stretch of Queen Street between Bathurst and Dufferin. This is best for shopping! You could spend your whole day just walking down exploring the shops. One of the best Italian, Terroni ($$) is here, as well as a great pizza place called North of Brooklyn ($.) The Drake Hotel ($$$) is also an amazing place to go for brunch, dinner, or nightlife. Otto’s Bier Hall ($) is also a really fun spot to go – food and drinks aside it was voted ‘best washroom in Toronto.’ If you go, you will see why!

I'm stealing this from google as it was spot on: West Queen West is a trendy neighbourhood that draws artists and hipsters to its galleries, kitschy shops and indie boutiques. Home to vibrant bars, cafes and bistros, the area is also known for its offbeat street fashion and Graffiti Alley murals. Picturesque Trinity Bellwoods Park is a top leisure spot for families and dog owners, while the Drake and Gladstone "art hotels" host concerts and events. The only addition I have to add is that rent prices continue to rise closer to the core downtown and spreading outwards. So a lot of the original bohemian and artsy stores in West Queen West have all moved further west into Parkdale (which is good for us!). Just be ready for more mainstream stores on Queen between Yonge and Spadina. Pricey quirky stores between Spadina and Ossington. And then more unique and artsy stores between Ossington and Dufferin. And then the yet-to-be-fully-gentrified (and we hope it doesn't fully) Parkdale with its mix of cool shops and original mom and pop shops. walk from Dufferin east towards Bathurst for cool stores and restaurants. Check out the two art and culture hotspot hotels - the Drake and the Gladstone. Hang out in Trinity Bellwoods Park with take out lunch from Sud Forno, Hooky's Fish and Chips, the cute and unique Lucky Penny General Store & Cafe for fresh salads/tasty sandwiches/scooped ice cream, Fresh vegetarian restaurant, and delectable treats from Nadege bakery. Check out the Artscape Youngplace building for whatever free art exhibits are happening inside.

The Gladstone Hotel and The Drake Hotel are two great nightlife spots that are very active on the weekends. They are also great dinner destinations any night of the week

Kilometres of small shops. You could spend hours walking the entire street!
