This beautiful park runs along the Soque River, has a great walking / running trail, and is peaceful and tranquil. There is a great playground for the kids.

"My wife and I recently visited the park. Located in downtown Clarkesville it’s a great place to take the kids and spend an afternoon. The park borders a creek. Amenities include: 1-Kid’s playground 2-Pavilions with picnic tables 3-Restroom facilities 4-A large open green space 5-A performance stage for concerts 6-Wooden glider swings where you can relax 7-Individual picnic tables by the creek We got our exercise walking the natural terrain path that circles the perimeter of the park. Benches are strategically placed along the path if you need to take a break. Overall we had a very good experience. Open daily. Limited parking."
