Have lunch or drinks at The Funky Pelican at the Pier. You can rent fishing poles at the gate to the pier for a small fee. There is a friendly Pelican who loves to eat shrimp usually at the end of the Pier. OR Drinks and Food at the Golden Lion and go to the beach after right across the street! *Don't forget sunscreen for lunch outside or the pier! * you can still have lunch on the Pier but the hurricanes of 2022' took down a section of pier that is set to be taken down and updated in 2023' already!

This is one of our favorite things to do! If you are a beachy person, this is the place to go! There is a pier you can pay to walk out on or you can soak up the sun on the beach. The waves are fun to body surf on and it is conveniently located to many beachside restaurants and bars!

Well worth the small fee - especially around sunset. Great views and you may even see some of the local surfing talent.
