If you are headed skiing in Cadillac this is a must visit. Located in an old train depot, parents of special needs adults created this restaurant to give their sons and daughters a place to work. Great food! Lake views. Open for breakfast and lunch. Check Facebook for hours.

Great place with an even more incredible mission. In the state of Michigan, people with developmental disabilities age out of public schools at 26-years-old and that means they are left with little to no structure, guidance, or even hobbies. This is where the After 26 Depot steps in to help. Stop by for a great breakfast or lunch and an even greater contribution to those that want to work and contribute to the community.

Fabulous breakfast and lunch spot in downtown Cadillac, with a greater mission beyond food. Located in the historic Ann Arbor Railroad building, the After 26 Depot Cafe and unique Gifts is a special place, with a mission to provide jobs to adults with developmental disabilities and cognitive impairments. Spearheaded by the retired school teachers, municipal workers, private business people and other concerned citizens, the community-wide effort became a reality when the restaurant opened its doors in 2013 to give a group of "Project Works" a much needed chance. Today, the friendly staff is always ready to provide attentive service!!

Sitting at the historic Ann Arbor Railroad Depot, After 26 Depot & Cafe is dedicated to employing adults with development disabilities and cognitive impairments. Offering a great menu with always changing specials. People come for the mission but stay for the food! The old railroad depot was built circa 1915 and was a popular stop on the route. The building sat vacant for years and was ran-down. In 2007 the After 26 project was set into motion. After many years of renovations, the depot was restored to it's former glory and After 26 Depot & Cafe opened it's doors in 2013. Check website for hours
