The Sunset is a small local restaurant with simple traditional dinner and sandwich choices. The restaurant is clean and friendly and the food is basic and simple. On the other extreme, its homemade pies are stellar. Save room for dessert.

I’ve gone there ever since I can remember. They specialize in homestyle cooking with family atmosphere. Dine in, curbside or carry out. My favorite is a BBQ sandwich with slaw and a little Texas Pete. Great homemade pies too. Open since 1945!
