The Royal Sovereign is a genuine old school boozer, located between Clapton and Stoke Newington. As well as a decent pint - from a good selection of real ale, cider and lager - it also hosts regular live music nights and DJs. The freshly made stone-baked pizzas are great and there is a large back garden to enjoy in the summertime. Plus it's got its own darts and cricket team, helping to promote the pub's friendly and community focused atmosphere.

A great community pub. Weekend DJs, a courtyard garden and stone-baked pizzas make this pub a great spot for a casual dinner or a fun night out. It is a great place for people watching too. The characters are endless... take for instance, Steve who goes there to dance in his roller skates weekly. Great fun.
