Can take boat trips from the castle. Short walk from Killarney town, nice place to come and feed the ducks.

Our Air b&b is boarders The National Park. You can take a lovely stroll to the end of our road to find Ross Castle. I would recommend a Boat Trip through the lakes which departs from Ross Castle. This is a fun day with loads of laughs .

Ross Castle was built in the 15th century and is typical of its style, with square bartizans on diagonally opposite corners and a thick end wall containing a tier of chambers and winding stairs. Language guides are available and they have guidebooks in English, Irish, French, German and Italian. There is access for disabled visitors on the ground floor. Opening Times Mid March - End October 9:30am to 5:45pm (last admission 45 minutes before closing) Book in advance if there is a group Please note this is a busy site and visitors may experience a delay during summer months.

A wonderful place to visit in Killarney, feed the ducks, climb the castle walls, maybe go for a boat trip on the lakes.

Ross castle is a must see you can go on a boat trip on the lake and the views are amazing
