This is historical area is called " Old Town". There is the park where reserve the original building form back in the day. There is a lot of great Mexican restaurant around this area.

Lots of shopping, great Mexican restaurants, not far from the airport so you can stop in there on your way to your flight and pick up fresh buttered tortilla's right off the grill. The people on the plane will hate you for this.
